ok i'm starting to worry a little bit..............my MA told me to call him today to just check in with him before i went on my mission trip this friday so we can see where my mini sits. his information and the info on the mini owners lounge both say my mini is still waiting transport. but when i go to Wellenius Wilhelmsen site it says my mini is on the ship Integrity. when i go to Sailwx.info it doesn't give any info on the ship Integrity.

so my questions are which info is right the mini's owner's lounge or the Wellenius Wilhelmsen? how long does it take the mini owner's lounge info to be updated? it's been saying awaiting transport since wednesday/thrusday. one last question how long does it take for the sailwx.info site to have any info from the ships?

I was wondering the same thing, but since the info on ww said my MINI was loaded onto vessel and gives a time I'm am satisfied that it just takes awhile to update. Also the INTEGRITY is listed, you just have to search for ship name, not callsign...

 

Not every ship broadcasts their weather data on www.sailwx.info The ship that my Mini is on, isn't. I've posted the latest info from the AIS subscription site in the other thread for you soul embrace.

Is the Tarifa an east or west coast ship?

 

Looks like I have a good chance to be on the K-Line's "Emden" ship, due in at Southampton today and due in Charleston July 25th, Baltimore July 28th as my MINI has been awaiting transport since Saturday.

 

It is a West Coast ship headed to Port Hueneme, CA.

 

I wish the INTEGRITY was going to SC first, I've got to wait for it to go through New York and then Maryland.

 

At least you have confirmation of your MINI being on a ship. My MA is telling me mine is waiting at port and not to expect it until mid-August--about a month from now. My little car was at the port on 07.12.07.

 

Me too......12 July and nothing since. My MA says he won't know anything until the car is in "transit". I doubt we're on a WW ship. The Triton Hwy from KLines left the 13th....maybe we're on it?????? Sure is discouraging hearing all these cars leaving and we're not huh?

 

There are a lot of ships with the INTEGRITY name. I looked up its call sign when it was in Southhampton. Use WDC6925 and she'll pop up. She is turning on her weather report, and is therefore being tracked. Go back to sailwx.info and give it a try.

 

that stinks guys. I would hate knowing it's done and that it is still just sitting there.

Nothing on the Tarifa since leaving the AISLive late last night. Looks like we will not be able to track her on sailwx.

 

Do you know a way to track a KLiner's cargo? Seems only WW does this so the rest of us have to guess what KLine ship we "might" be on. There are at least 2 of us on dock since the 12th that didn't go WW. My fingernails are gone now!!!

 

When you go to the OL and click on the Review Order Details section is an estimated delivery date listed, do you know which VDC serves your area? If you haven't been able to find your ship name from your MA and it doesn't show up on WW. Once the status changes to En Route and you have the estimated delivery date in the Review Order Details, it is possible to make some educated deductions as to which ship it is on by looking at the schedules for NYK and K Lines.

 

I ordered from Charleston, so I'm betting my MINI comes into there. My OL is still showing awaiting transport, so no help there. From what I found out at Ask-MINI, the cars wait at port from 1 to 7 days before being loaded for transport. But, that is an estimation, and once it is delivered to port, thats where Ask-MINI stops according to the lady I spoke with.

 

Nope...no est time of delivery listed. I've been kinda guessing using date of awaiting transport, etc. Just hoping she got on a ship in the last week and not sitting there still. Sure wish all lines used the WW system of info. All I know for sure is it is awaiting transport (since 12 July) and will be disembarked at Charleston.

 

That's what the guy at ASK MINI told me too......after it is awaiting transport it is out of their system. I had no idea how stressful this would be having gotten my 03 MC from the showroom!! Sigh.

 

I have figured out that since we are not on the WW ships--as is evidenced by the lack of cargo identification on the tracking site, that my MINI must be on one of the other ships, of which there are several due in sometime between 07.26 and 08.04. So I'm thinking that the little dragon-egg will be delivered just in time for me to have to sit at school ALL day knowing my newest fascination is sitting at the dealership waiting on me.

I dont know whether its a boy or girl yet (although I'm thinking girl), it has been named the Dragon-Egg, which is a long story--but suffice it to say that my truck is known as Dragon-1. And since my MINI will be a sassy all black little car--anyways..we'll see when she finally gets here.

 

Can't tell if I'm in week 28 or 29 since I've been away and unable to check the status. Best way to deal with the wait is to order the car, then go away for a while, someplace like a cruise or a safari where your connection to the outside world is poor to none! When I got back - Oh Happy Day! Snobol has been built and is awaiting transport. Anyone know when the next Charleston ship leaves?

 

I think I've gone a few hours without checking status. Our bad luck to get on a ship that isn't WW. :impatient My baby is Mellow Yellow and a girl for sure. Her name is Saffron.....you know...Mellow Yellow/Donavan/1960s song? So, poor little Saffron is "sitting on the dock of the bay" (I see a theme here) with BluTurtle's unamed baby. All we want is a little space on a great big ship.!!

 

It shouldn't be that hard to find a spot for a cute little yellow MINI and a sassy looking black MINI....

figures--I knew the ability to track my MINI was too good to be true.
