If you check in 1st Gear you will find "How To Track Your Mini", good place to start.
All of the Mini's going to the west coast go by way of the Panama Canal and time is an average 21 days. If the schedule does not change, the next Wallenius ship will be the TARIFA, leaving South Hampton on 7/17 and arriving at Port Hueneme (Oxnard,CA) on 8/6
So you could make the next sailing, and we could be on the same ship. I ordered from EastBay Mini, where did you ordeer from ?

Thanks. I've read that thread but didn't see anything about what route it would take. So thanks for the information.
I also ordered from East Bay Mini. I actually am closer to Mountain View Mini but I had a terrible experience there, but the folks at East Bay were much better.

So after a week of visitng dealers, went with East Bay, will see how they handle things after delivery.
Seems we had the same experience, I had some issues Mountain View as well. Mini of Concord was not much better, called and told them what I was looking for before making the 60 mile drive. Upon arrivial they told me the car I was interested in was a demo, and they could not sell it.

The West Coast gets only one ship per week for Mini deliveries.
Well for some reason next weeks ship to the west coast was changed till Tueday 07/17, this change was made last week. Hopefully it does not change again.

Also the scheduled ship is the "Tarifa" and does not show up on the WW page under current ships. Seems it was just put into service May/June and WW does not list it yet, other than searching under the ports option.
So it is another wait and see thing.
Oh, if it changes to Tuesday, you probably won't find your VIN on WW until Saturday then. Typically it shows up there 3 days before the ship is supposed to leave.
At least they didn't cancel it. About a month ago they cancelled one of the voyages and that group of people had their Minis waiting for the following weeks ship.
Luckily I wasn't part of that group. I empathize with whoever was though.

I'm not sure which one will serve you, I'd suggest asking your MA. He/She would be able to tell you without even having to think about it. I know there is a VDC in Charlestown, SC and I think there is one in New York, NY (I'm not 100% on that though). Other than that I'm not sure. I'm on the West Coast and we only have one VDC that serves us and that is in Port Hueneme, CA.

Here is a link to an old post on NAM that has a lot of great information on tracking a Mini https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=51821 see post #5 in that thread. It's one of the most comprehensive tracking posts that I've seen to date.
there is a sticky in the 1st Gear Forum that lists the website you can go to, then all you have to do is enter your VIN number in and it tells you what boat and what dates. It looks like mine is getting off in Charleston on July 28th
It also depends on what shipping company is used for your Mini. There are three different comanies (WW, K line, and NYK). They are not all equal in the ability to give you information)
