Just received a hit on WW's auto tracking site -- I'm loaded up aboard the Liberty, which will pick up the MINIs tomorrow in Southampton and arrive at my VDC in Charleston on 7/14.
302 MINIs are booked for the boat so far, chime in if you're there too!

The trick is finding the area where the port is on the map, once you find the right area you can click on it and it will zoom you in. It shows the ships in the area (where they are and what their name is).
On the bottom of left side of the map it should be fairly easy to find St. Nazaire, from there go straight up just a little bit and slightly to the right, Southhampton is on the South end of the UK coast.
I did some searching and found the call sign for the Liberty, the call sign is WRYX. You should be able to use that to track it at http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/ once it gets further out to sea.

I saw that earlier, but I was unable to readily interpret the map. How do you read it? Is the larger of the red dots where the ship is located, and the smaller dots are the route? Or am I completely off base, which I suspect may be the case.

I'm not sure as the information posted for it was dated for the 21st of June. They probably don't have the system turned on yet or another possibility that I read on another site is that it only reports during bad weather so it may be possible that it won't ever show up on the sailwx site.
I'm sorry I can't be more help, the ship just pulled left the docks about an hour and a half ago so it hasn't had the opportunity to get very far out. I'm hoping you might be able to get some updates tomorrow morning maybe...
At least there is some history for the Liberty. My Mini is booked on the Isolde (call sign SLKB) and I can't find any history on Sailwx for it.
Our ship has departed the port, but "Google Earth" lets you see in real detail what it looks like at Southampton. You can zoom in tight enough to see ships! Though it's not real time, it's still pretty neat. The other thing it does is put in perspective just how freak'n far our Minis have to travel!

I think I have the map figured out, the larger dot is where it was last located at and the smaller red dots were prior reported locations so you can follow its trail backwards.
Mine's on that ship as well! After sitting on the dock for SIX days!! My MA orginally said Mid-July delivery. Ain't likely!!
If its schedule to arrive at your VDC there is a good chance your dealer will have it by end of the third week in July (ending the 21st). So yes, it is still likely.

Well. I appreciate the optimism and I'm hoping that'll be the case. I lose my current daily driver (99 Civic Si) on July 23rd, so would be really nice to have the Mini by then. Don't know how long it'll take the dealer to do the JCW engine stuff--mine will be their first one.

Ahh, that will delay delivery. But the dealer should have that week.
So the Liberty landed on the 13th and unloaded that same day. Any progress to report from anyone as far as expected pickup date from the dealer? I just got off the phone with my MA, and he says he'll get back to me...................
Depending on how busy the VDC is (and what options if any are installed at the VDC) and how far it has to travel after leaving the VDC it can be upwards of a couple of weeks or more after being unloaded from the ship. Then you also have possible dealer options that need to be installed and it does look like you have some dealer installed options that will probably require a bit of installation time.
