Hello Everyone,

I was in a local mini dealer this week and there was a gorgeous silver cooper S on the showroom floor. It had a body aero kit that the salesman said was factory. I went out to the builders site the the kit on the site looks nothing like the kit in the showroom. Does anyone know how many 'factory' kits are out there. Also, there are 2 aero kits on the web site. One is a regular factory kit; the other is JCW. The JCW is $100 more. Anyone know the difference?

One more thing...the salesman told me that the center gauge clusters are back for the new car and that the builders site is not up to date. Has anyone heard anything about this?

 

There are many threads with pics regarding the aero kits. As for the gauge cluster, I have heard nothing of the sort. He may have been referring to the cabrio. I don't see how the cluster can be integrated into the center speedo unless they are LED. I don't see why there can't be two pods over the steering column, though.

 

It must've been the JCW aero kit. The hypersport kit looks a tad odd.

 

I think it looks odd because the arches aren't painted. Few members with factory aero kit have painted their arches and it looks pretty nice.
