OL now shows "at your dealer"... No call though... I wonder when they might get to that? Oh well, I imagine they have a few more days of stuff to do on it anyways. I guess they want to surprise me?

 

I guess after waiting for Max 2, you developed an awful lot of patience! With the OL update, I'd be calling them!

I'm sure you'll hear from them soon. It's going to be a long week for me! :impatient

How many west coasters got their Manon Mini's? I see a few from LA and San Diego... Lady Aquila, have you picked it up yet? (Sacto?) Pics ???

 

Unhappy-- Still have not recieved my mini =( had to send some paperwork to my cosigner in hawaii... So rather than sending it last friday they waited until tuesday of this week...... Also the person who was going to call me on monday with some info on some stuff, decided not to call... I am not a happy camper.

Btw! I had to see it last week and everything!

I did get the call last night... finally... So tonite is pickup! Haven't seen Max2 yet, though....

Pictures of your MINI after all this time would be great. I hope you enjoy the first drive. Last Sunday I turned over the the magical break-in miles. It was on the beginning of the 5280.org Bishop's Castle Run, nice to be able to see what the MINI does without watching for 4500 rpm.

 

Thanks Don... A little closer, at least I now know the dealer has Max2... But, alas, I have to pickup later... maybe tomorrow now. But soon! Yes, pics should be soon too, I even bought a new lens for the occasion!

 

OK, Finally, after two orders and lots of WW Ship Tracking, Max is here! Picked him up last night....

First impressions: Fun to drive ! (even under 4500/100mph)... Lots of gadgets. rides nice (limited miles) even with Sport Susp and RunFlats... Lots of programming to do do. (3 flash blinkers, NAV).

Nav ah, well, it isn't quite super intuitive, but Max has only been home 12 hours!

Got Revi! Was tricked into taking some friends to a SOE Block Party... in San Diego ~2 hours away... So Revi got the harsher idea of what the world is like! I struggled hard to keep him under 4500rpm, we dodged in and out and just had a ton of fun, I will say I was tempted by Revi's darker side, and we did cook a couple of Honda's and a mazda or 2... Only for short bursts tho! Gunna take it as easy as possible for the rest of the time... Now have 270 miles on Revi! Half a tank of gas, and TONS of fun!

What else... ah yes! Revi was pulling around 27mpg even with my bad hondaclobbering spurts ... Hope anyone else waiting enjoys it as much as we did!
