Let me know if anyone gets a hit for a ship leaving for the East Coast in the next couple of days. In the meantime, I will check out the K line...

I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!! I was hoping to make the Courage as well. Mine was complete on the 3rd and I STILL haven't gotten any shipping information. Even in the MINI OL it still says awaiting transportation. I'm not sure what I've done to deserve this torture. :impatient Anyway... I guess it will be over before we know it, right?

This is my Monday morning updates, and the info is just as confusing as it has been for weeks.

Called ASK MINI 3 hours ago and talked to a nice lady, was told my Mini was at South Hampton waiting for route assignment. Just called again 5 minutes ago and a differant lady tells me the "most" current info is that production finished Sunday 07/08.

OL is still showing scheduled for production, ASK MINI still says it is in the paint shop with a schedlued completion date of 07/09. In my case, both ASK MINI and the OL takes several days to update, and I tend not to trust anything from talking to ASK MIN reps till I have the same reply a couple of times.

Dealer just called me to say that my mini will probably be ready for pick up by the end of the month! It'll be in SC on the 21st or so then in Texas a few days later.

Hey there. Looks like I am STILL waiting as well. I dont think a WW or K Line ship is even due in for another 2-3 days.

Looks like all of our Wk 27 brothers have departed. At least our MINIs are keeping each other company! Pretty soon we'll have to party with the Wk 28ers. The more the merrier I guess.

Let me know if you hear anything...

Talked to ASK Mini twice today, say I'm at the port waiting ship assignment. OL still just showing "schedlued for production" for me the OL has been really useless.

I'm just relieved. Production complete on the 29th for me and i missed the Isolde with the other W26ers. I'll probably get mine the same as yours since mine will have to get to Portland.

Guess it's time to focus on other things so i don't lose my mind.

I hear ya!

It's kinda nice that the Tristan doesn't appear to report it's location like some of the other boats. That way I can't neurotically track it's progress the whole way across the ocean!

If you're interested, I've posted links to maps in the free version of AISLive that you can use for tracking your ship once its get close to land again. The links are in the Isolde thread. You can find the Panama Canal maps and the maps for Port Hueneme.

You do need to create a free account if you haven't already in order to view those maps.

I've got Good/Bad news for you. The Tristan is now reporting it's location. We're underway and trackable!

Heh! Too bad.. or maybe good.. that my work won't let me access that site for some reasons. I can get to it from home but at work it gives me some kind of access error. So are we on schedule?

Are we on schedule? Hard to tell, but i see nothing to say we are off schedule. http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/ can only tell you where the ship is if they are reporting weather info, which the Tristan is. Right now it's NW of Spain. Right now WW still has the target date for arrival in CA as 8/1.
Port Country

An interesting tidbit i found on the Port of Hueneme web site (www.portofhueneme.org) is that they show it arriving on 7/30. Of course the panama canal is the big question mark. Will there be any delays there? We won't know for a week or so.

Anybody know more?

Maybe the ww site is showing UK date and the Port of Hueneme site is showing US date? If it arrives after 7pm on 7/30, it will be 8/1 in UK!

I'm on the Tristan....WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!! How exciting. According to askmini my car supposedly finished production on the 6th but according to the ww site was recieved at the terminal on the 6th....is that odd? they had me booked on the 3rd for it.

I would stick with the WW site. Normally it is a 21 day journey depending on any delays at the Panama Canal. The Port Hueneme site probably didn't update their schedule when the Tristan changed departure days from Monday to Tuesday (the normal departure day is every Monday).

FINALLY!

All aboard the INTEGRITY! Just got a hit on the WW site. Due in Southhampton in about 3 hours for a same day depart. The Port of Charleston site has a due date of the 28th so it looks like I will be a few days behind those who caught the COURAGE.

If you are comin' the east coast and dont have an assignment yet, give it a try. See ya aboard!

Well, here's where the Tristan is as of 7/13 everyone...

Looks to be between 600 to 800 miles west of the coast of Spain! Chugging right along!
