not trackable not even listed, had to look at the coast gaurd master list to make sure it was the right boat.
I found the stats on kline and the ship is smaller than most only carrying about 3900 cars, its sits high and should be able to move quicker through the water which explains the 10 days trip time from southhampton.

ok give or take about 400 sq miles the ship is roughly in this area
41*07'11.21N
25*38'09.40W
a few 100 miles north east of the Azores islands.
This is very dirty sea nav stuff, but you take an avg speed of around 12 knots for this type of ship and multi by 24 and mulitply that but number of days.
of course this does not cover what path or what course or if it changed course etc etc. but at least i know about where it is, in 2 day is should be just about mid atlantic.

Thanks Lynn. I was just trying to get a feel for how long mine would take to update on the OL system (it still says awaiting transport). With what dave found, though, I know mine's on the sea already w/ the Franconia. Probably because of the late-in-the-week build date.
Does anybody know how long the cars stay at the receiving port?
By the way Simpson, I just have to say that you have amazing taste in color

In regards to them staying at the port, I think that is another huge variable and I don't even want to attempt to figure it out but from what I've read, it typically takes 3-7 days for them to pass through the VDC. If you meant how long does it take for them to get off the ship and to the VDC, I've no idea.
You do as well!

At any rate, all you others with lost Mini's headed to the east coast may be aboard with me. Ya just had to leave me at the docks, eh, LynnCVT? I'd have done the same to you! So you'll be cruising at least a week before me, but I'm happy the mystery is solved.
, already up to what 9 pages and we still have at least 3-4 weeks before everyone in our group gets their Mini.
Liberty
Looks like it's still on schedule to arrive on 7/9:

Still have not heard anything from my MA, although I am starting to suspect that it is on the Franconia as well. Based on build times and proximities to others in this forum it is a pretty safe bet. I still do not get anything from my VIN at the WW tracking website, but I can't imaging that my MINI has been sitting in the port for a week now and that they still have no shipping info available
I was told the earliest I could pick it up would be 4 days after it hits NYC. Unfortunately I will be out of town that weekend. I will probably be picking it up next tuesday.
Nice, don't forget to post pics if you can! I'm still expecting approximately 4 more weeks for me. I'm estimated I'll probably be able to take delivery sometime around Aug 3rd.
Found my mini after too long of a wait. Ask Mini said it was complete on the 29th but since it didn't show up on WW's site i hoped it got on another line but then on Friday it showed up. I'm on the Tristan that departs tomorrow and arrives in CA on 8/1. Obviously bad timing on my part, more than a week from birth to shipping.
I did talk to my MA and he stated that they usuall get the car 8 - 14 business days after the car has arrived at the VDC. Therefor i'm looking at mid to late august to get mine.

Ack!!
Sorry to hear of the bad timing. I know, it bites that there is only one ship a week to the West Coast
. It looks like the WW site is taking into consideration expected traffic delays at the Panama Canal due to maintenance in their estimated ETA for the Tristan, which is a good thing
True, one poster said it only took his Mini a couple of days from the VDC to reach Rasmussen. But I'm skeptical on that. Seal6 has his Mini on the way from the VDC to Rasmussen. It looks like it will be 9 days for his from the time it reached the VDC until it is expected to arrive at the dealer. My MA (Dan) told me it should take between 1-2 weeks from the time they make it to the VDC until they arrive at the dealer. Then, it may take longer to pick it up depending on any dealer installed options you have ordered. I don't have many dealer installed ones so I'm hoping mine should be ready fairly quickly once it reaches the dealer.
I was originally given a late August/early September estimate when I placed my order back in May. So, yes, I'd agree, it's better to be surprised with an earlier delivery than expected than to be dissappointed that it is running late.
FINALLY!
OK, so I finally see that MINI OL has my baby listed as en route, at this time I am positive that I am not on a WW ship, still no information on my VIN. unfortunately no one is at askMINI right now to give me shipping information....
Oh well at least the car is definitely out over the ocean right now!!
