Congratulations, maximoose! Dropped by the dealership and talked with my MA who estimates a July 25 or 26 delivery for me, based upon the Franconia schedule. That's still way earlier than I expected when I started the process. Pics when you take them, please!
Hi Maximoose - I hope that you are happy to be checking this thread for the next month or so
I am in Brisbane, Australia and my week 26 MINI is still on a ship. I have been tracking it via the WW site but us Aussies arent as lucky as the americans in that we dont have a MINI lounge to get constant updates...
The TALISMAN arrives in the port of Brisbane on the 8th of August - I am guessing that it will take 10 days to clear customs and get sorted by the dealer... I could be the last one on this thread to get their MINI but it will be worth the wait!!!!

Any updates we get are usually through the various ship tracking sites. The OL does give us some information but I wouldn't say constant updates, actually it is far from it.
Welcome to the group though! It is nice to hear from others in our same production week. Here I was stressing out being on the West Coast of the US with a longer shipping time but you have to wait even longer. It would appear as if the added time to Australia is about the same as the added time from the US East Coast to the West Coast. (roughly two weeks). Us West Coasters should get our Minis in about two more weeks and then you'll get yours about two weeks after that.
Have a great day and thanks for posting!!
What's the current count
So, how many of the East Coast week 26 folks already have their MINIs??? Where are the pics?
Inquiring minds want to know
C'mon...make us West Coast blokes envious

My mini is scheduled to be shipped from SC on 7/19. My MA says he expects it by Saturday or Monday next week. Since I work a full time schedule over the weekends, I won't get it until next week. Ugh. I was really hoping for this week. Well, if all goes well, it will still be a week earlier than originally quoted.

Oh, I am tempted
but unfortunately, I am far too responsible
. I will just have to wait it out. Not sure what the hold up is at the VDC. I wonder if it has more to do with waiting for a few more cars coming to South Florida so they can have a full truck?

Now that I'm back in town, I checked in at my dealer and found out that my r56 was loaded onto a truck earlier today and will arrive sometime tomorrow!!!! As long as it gets in at a decent time, they will be PDI'ing it for me and then I will be driving it home tomorrow night!
I have a feeling that I didn't actually get a ride on the Liberty ship, as that docked over a week ago, and my car is just now getting a ride here (about 4hrs from NYC), and I inputted my VIN again on the WW site and it showed it on a different ship, which I thought was odd. Oh well, it's on it's way home!
It has made good time either way, as I ordered it a little over a month ago, 6/14. If it doesn't come in early tomorrow, I'll see it thursday (which ever day I get it, you guys will see it that day too
).

I haven't checked in a while, but it looks like the Franconia is supposed to be into Charleston tomorrow:

That's where mine should be unloaded. Looks like the Otello's there today.

Yup, it's in JAX right now. Hopefully it will make schedule and unload our Minis tomorrow. Only glitch I can see is that we may be at the back of the line for the VDC after the Otello's off-load. :impatient
Got a call from my MA this morning to confirm they are expecting my MINI to arrive in Port Hueneme on the 23rd. They also wanted to confirm that I wanted the iPod adapter and Black Sport Stripes I ordered... they will have them installed at Port which will be cheaper for me and also faster than at the Dealer.
Waiting sucks,
impatient but it is nice to get official word from a Human that things are progressing

Efficient Operation
I'm amazed at watching the way these car transports operate. Otello spent only 7 hours and 5 minutes at the dock in Charleston! I will be eagerly watching the port for Franconia tomorrow!
