I paid straight msrp, and also just found out it came w/ wheel locks! (on the cars on the lot, the locks cost $35 as a dealer item. Also got a dealer mini keychain.) Cloth floormats also came with the car (had the option for rubber too).

The OL just updated my Estimated Delivery Date to today! My MA said Saturday or Monday a couple days ago. What do you think it means?:impatient

 

I've lost track of your ship time, has your ship arrived at the VDC yet? From what I've been able to gather, the initial ETA in the OL is the ETA for the VDC, then I believe it should update after leaving the VDC to the ETA for arriving at your dealer.

My car made the VDC on 7/11. I confirmed that with my MA. The OL updated with "At Vehicle Distribution Center" yesterday with an EDD of 7/21. Today it said EDD 7/19.

 

That should be the ETA for arrival at the dealer then!!

 

After it arrives at the dealer though, they may have other accessories to install depending on what you ordered, so his ETA of Saturday or Monday was probably for you taking delivery.

 

Your Mini has had plenty of time to make it that short distance to your dealership. I'd call and put the pressure on the MA. It may be on the lot now! This was the weekend you had to work, right? Could you take delivery tomorrow if they get it prepped?

 

Tomorrow would be perfect. No other plans. If I don't hear from him by 5pm today then I am going to call. I don't have any dealer installs so all it needs is a little shine and then I am on the road.

 

I am fortunate to have what I consider to be a pretty good business relationship and friendship with my MA. It also helps that the dealership is not too far away geographically. So for those of you constantly kept in the dark about your Mini status, I say: demand some information from your MA! The good old OL still shows my Mini en route. My MA information says that it is already through the VPC (yes, the Vehicle Inquiry: Status, calls it the VPC not the VDC). His information shows that it has already been released to the trucking company for delivery. So as I write this, it may be happily cruising along on a transporter on a hot, humid southern night headed for Texas. Delivery could come as soon as early next week. LynnCVT, demand your rights!! You should have your Mini on Friday!

 

I called my MA this morning. My car was not delivered yet but he says that he expects it today. He said he would personally get the car ready and call me to make sure that I can pick it up today if it comes in.

 

My MA just called back. I am picking up my car at 2pm ET today!!!!!
