R56 R56 Week 26 Production Support Group
Hang in there. I feel very strongly they are on the water chugging towards home.
I'm convinced mine has got to be on the K-line to SC, mine reached port on 6/29 and some of the others who got there after are already out to sea. I feel the same frustration with OL and askMINI, I really do believe the system could be a bit more up to date. Oh, and you are probably right about us being better off not knowing. When I got my mustang it just showed up one day and that was it. I wasn't trying to find trucking schedules, and looking at weather reports......Oh well, it'll be here soon!
The status on mine in the OL changed to En Route this morning, so that took three days to update vs. the 5 it took others on the Lilberty. I'm thinking if your status has changed in the OL and you don't can't find out what ship you are on, you are on the Liberty. If your status changes today or tomorrow you are likely on the Otello.
Hmmm....I haven't seen that yet, I'll take a look and let you know. There should be an obvious difference for me because of the trucking time to Oregon. I'll let you know momentarily. EDIT: I also know what day mine is suppose to reach the VDC so that will help determine one way or the other.

It is the estimated delivery at the VDC. Mine says 7/23 in the Order Details section and that is when the Isolde is due to arrive at Port Hueneme.
So, knowing that you might be able to find out which ship your Mini made it on. Great catch there LynnCVT!
If yours says July 12, I think it is on the Otello. It left on the 3rd, and it is a 9 day voyage to the East Coast. But then I don't know if your VDC would be its first or second stop for it. But that sounds correct.
EDIT: I can't stress how important of a find this is LynnCVT. This will help put a lot of minds at ease. I've also posted in the Week 27 group giving them directions on how to find which ship their Minis get loaded onto (I gave you credit for the find of course!). Yes it was a delay, but now we have a method to find out!

JCW Upgrades
So is anyone here planning on adding any of the JCW upgrades to their MINI? My MA told me that they should start coming out around the time our MINI arrives, and since it is done at the dealer we can always add the options later.
Still Awaiting transport

I am actually through Bill Jacobs in Naperville, they are a bit closer to where I live. I did make the trip up to Patrick in order to see if I could get a better price. I must say I was a bit suprised when he told me that Bill Jacobs would be closer, and might be a better bet for me in terms of convenience....shortly after that I began reading posts on NAM and realized MSRP is actually what people are paying. Definitely different from when I got my mustang.
Possibly, I have to see what real benefits they provide.
JCW kit with rear spoiler and panit job is about $3,000.00. Do I want it? Yes. Do I want to spend another 3 grand? Not at this moment. May be just the JCW rear spoiler.....
Finally on the Way, Week 26

if your Mini was scheduled for production week 26 or late 25, you may be sailing on the Courage. Look for your VIN # in the link above. Mine is on there and the ship can't get here fast enough.

You mini looks like it was born the same day as mine. Maybe they are on the same ship. Look on this web site for your vin#

Yes, the Courage is the next WW ship scheduled to make the trip from Southampton, UK to NY, USA. You would have had to have been a very late week 26 or had something go wrong in order to get ship with a departure date on the 7th. The previous week 26 East Coast ships are the Liberty (departing 6/30) and Otello (departing 7/3). I think Minis that end up being loaded onto the Courage are week 27 Minis (they completed production this week instead of last week).

Mine also says delivery on the 12th to the VDC, i think if your says that you are on the K-line ship not a ww ship.
I have heard ww is really good about thier vin lookup so if its not on there and you have an enroute you might be on a K-line ship.
I think :(

You'll get that once you status changes to En Route. Or at least it should display then. According to the OL what is your status of your order?
daveag98, do you know which K-line ships from your week were due to arrive at your VDC on the 12th? If you do, that is the ship your Mini is on.
I think I've found your ship name, the NYK ship Yorktown Express left Southampton on July 1st and is due to arrive in Charlestown, S.C. on July 12th.
EDIT: Peddani, didn't you post in the Week 25 Support group about 3 hours ago that your estimated arrival date is 7/10 on/at the Moritz?
