Today MINIUSA.com should have updated

With the prices of the ultrasonic alarm and sirius audio package.

Is this a trend with them where they do not update when they say they will update?

Or does anyone know the prices of these items? The sirius audio package is not the sirius by itself, but a combo with the HIFI and sirius.

The Audio Package costs $1,450 and includes HiFi, HD and Sirius lifetime subscription; a misnomer because it's a lifetime subscription for your MINI, not you. Also, I don't think the package is scheduled for official release until June 7. The Configurator probably won't be updated until then.

MINI has been changing availability dates since I started looking at the configurator. I wouldn't take any of their availability dates seriously.

Yes, it's a tradition on the MINIUSA configurator. In the past, I've seen the configurator lag for weeks, even months before it becomes updated.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know the story on the iPod adaptor? It was not priced before and is now missing completely in the MiniUSA web configurator.

You might go to motoringfile and ask Gabe he is having it installed on his R56 when it arrives at the VPC.
Hope that helps,
Jim

I just ordered a OxyBlu MC with the Audio package for $1400 (not $1450) from MINI of the Woodlands outside of Houston. The Configurator still doesn't show it as available but the dealers are able to order it, according to my MA, Keith, for over a week now.

Some dealers may not know this. I visited another MINI dealership in Houston, Momemtum, and the MA there, Chevis, told me that the audio pckg wasn't available (this was 3 days ago) and that he had no idea when it would be available.
