No news on my end if it's at my dealer or not. He said he would call me when it got here- but I heard that before "i'll call you"

Picked up my week 20 build at Mini of South Atlanta on Monday this week. Let the motoring begin!

After 120 miles, all I can say are praises for the car. Very good dealer experience as well. 4000 rpm comes very smoothly and easily. I can't wait to break it in and go further up the curve. Definitely prefer sport mode.

Gas mileage has met or exceeded expectations. 36 mpg on the freeway heading home from the dealer. 31-35 mpg on my commute depending on level of traffic.

I parked it in the garage where our Odyssey has been. Told my wife we don't need to get a 3 car garage, just another Mini.

MCS DS/B 6-sp, Premium, DSC, Bridge spoke wheels

Congrads on the MINI, 997. Excellent choice of colors and wheels. Smile for miles!

KEK, happy for ya, bro'. Saturday is only 7 forevers away! Rocks don't live that long.

Alas, our MA is MIA. No word yet on where our little MINI is hiding. It may be at the dealership, already. But who knows.
Oh! The drama!

since you all are experienced in this... can you guys tell me if you know if there are any other ships that ship our babies to the west coast (port hueneme), besides the WW? kinda seems strange to only have one boat coming in only every 2 weeks (on top of only one port to rely on)...

thanks!!!

I looked at the KLine site, doesn't seem to serve the WC North America. I am not sure?

Well, it seems our MINI is meandering around somewhere between there and here. Delivery to the dealership is scheduled for the 17th. Thats a four day bump for no known reason. That means the first pick up day we can get there is the 21st.
My crest is sagging.

That sucks- Did it get lost from San Antonio to Houston? Thats' strange unless it was on a different truck than me. Arriving on a sunday is strange also- isn't the dealer closed?

Congrats on your MINI mini997! Sounds like you've been having some fun motoring. I'm jealous! And 4xAAA, I too am slated for a 6/21 delivery. Vehicle should be prepped and ready 6/19 but due to my work schedule, earliest I can take delivery would be 6/21. Bloody 12hr work shifts!

My car is in!!! (ordered about 6 weeks ago, delivered to Irvine MINI in California)

Too bad I'm about to go get on a plane to go to my sister-in-law's graduation. Best part though: I took Monday off for the trip but it worked best to get early tickets home. So I think I'm going to pick up the car at noon and have the rest of the day to ride around. I'm thinking a trip along PCH down to San Diego!

Woo woo!

Congrats St G. Hope you enjoy your drive home. That should be a very nice ride!
Alas, my MINI is still wandering around the Deep South. I leave tonight to fish the BEST BASS LAKE ON THE PLANET. Lake Amistad for those of you who prefer trout and pike. *G*
Man don't you hate it when your passions collide?

Happy motoring for you Week 20 folks that get your itches scratched while I am getting sunburned. Livin' for Thursday!

Sorry for the delay on posting my mini experience. I picked up my car on saturday and it was sweet! The car runs smoothly and so much different than the suv I was driving the last 8 years. I'm still learning all the controls- so differerent from a chevy.

I'll post pictures soon- The car is dirty. Naturally, pick up an English car it has been raining non stop.

Very nice, KEK! I know you must be thrilled! So how many miles were on the odometer when you took delivery? Any photos of your interior? I'm still waiting to hear from my MA.....emailed him today as Scarlett was to arrive at the dealership Saturday and today she was supposed to undergo her dealer installs. The waiting continues here! Uuuuuuuuggggghhhhhh! More pics please!

It had 1 mile on the odometer. I'll take some of the interior, nothing custom on it. I would have like to do more with leather seats etc, but could have easily spent 30,000 for the car. I didn't plan on spending a $1000 for the tire warranty but from what I read on these boards, it's good to have.

One mile? Wow! I wonder how many will be on mine. Heard from my MA today, car arrived there today instead of Saturday. Tomorrow she is getting her roof graphic installed and Wednesday her clear bra. Delivery is scheduled for 3pm EST! I can't wait!

Cool! Glad that you are getting it sooner. Weird how yours is taking longer than the rest but hey, you are getting your mini very soon!

I didn't go with the maintence or extended. I can always do that later.
However, the reason I went the road is because I go to construction sites with my job and there are a lot of nails etc. My luck i'll run over a nail. Your quoate was good on the hazard, mine was a little higher but I got free tint and floor mats, so wasn't going to complain.
