I just checked frisia , no info,they have to call in weather reports or something to be tracked

I've been watching Emden, it's 2 days from Charleston !

 

I have been planning a fishing trip for 3 months. Gonna spend 4 days on Lake Amistad. Best bass lake in the country!

Could it be the Emden, ordered 5/7, at dock on 5/17 ??? I hope so, my MA is so busy selling 20 some cars a month. He couldn't give a clear update on when my car would be here...6 to 8 weeks has been the standard reply every 10 different times I have asked.
At least MINI USA showed it enoute on 5/24. So maybe, just maybe it is on the Emden. "Just wishing I knew where she was"

Have you checked the WW site with your VIN?
I would expect it to be updated, already.
My MA looked it up on their site...stuff we don't have access to. I would bug my MA with another call. Just ask him where it is "RIGHT NOW"

MA said left port 5/22 ,vdc 6/2 , at dealer 6/9.emden less than 2 days from charleston now!

Finally, 866-ASK-MINI tells me that i'm in transit. I guess it seems real now that my mini is to be here shortly!

 

MINIUSA shows ours in route, today.

FINALLY, heard from MA today that I've been sailing and should arrive in Charleston 6/7 and should be at dealership 6/14. I'm assuming I'm on the Frisia though he never confirmed this. And as you said 4xAAA, my ASK-MINI info updated to as in transit today as well. Really stinks on the lag they have there! I second your &#@%&#!@.

 

I don't think anyone who has ordered a mini is an idiot,maybe just stressed out from the wait !

I don't know if its stress from the wait........I've been pretty good about waiting and knowing there would be a wait helps. The stress comes from MINIUSA not updating us in a timely manner so we are left wondering.......are we still waiting at the dock? are we on this ship? or this ship? I was told I would get an email from MINIUSA once I was sailing and I've yet to receive that.

 

I don't think we would get an email from MINNIUSA. At least I didn't get mine.

 

So it looks like we are all on the K-Line ships, mostly on the Frisia. I hate not tracking it sailwx. I guess there is nothing we can do or track now. Once we get on land, there is no tracking what so ever!

 

Quoting my MA, this is what he messaged me: "Once your MINI stumbles onto a boat, you will receive an email from MINI telling you the car is over water. It is rather amusing."

Never received anything though and it took ages for the owner's lounge to update to sailing. At any rate, we are enroute!

 

I wonder if the VDC operate on weekends. The 7th is a Thursday....might get stuck waiting at VDC for Monday morning hangover doughnuts.

 

My MA said he expects to see Scarlett at the dealership by 6/14 which is 1 week after she docks. Hopefully she will arrive without any delays. I've heard stories of people getting held up at the VDC for various reasons.

 

Seem to remember Skuzzy had a delivery 7 days after VDC, too. He's in the Metroplex. Ours is headed to The Woodlands.

We don't arive until Thursday to SC, I think tropical storm Barry will be just rain by then if it goes that way. *fingers crossed*

 

I'm in North Florida and TS Barry has already dumped loads of much needed rain here. 100% chance forecasted for today followed by 60% tomorrow. I'll keep my eye on the weather but I don't think Barry will cause us too many delays.

Finally my MA said that my MCS was scheduled to be at the VDC on 6/1 (The web is not showing that is there) It was built mid-week of week 20 and musta' been on the Emden which was to arrive on the 1st....Kinda like Christmas you already know what your getting but the wait is becoming more difficult.
