Wow, that IS great news 4xAAA! Haven't heard from my MA about delivery yet. Any update to your info on owner's lounge or at ASK-MINI? Mine still says enroute.

 

Mine went to "at VDC" over the weekend. Which is pretty quick, all in all.

 

Well if yours is coming in the 13th, then mine should be here that time too. We were on the same boat, being delivered 200 miles from each other. I should call my MA.

Owner's Lounge says "at VDC" also. The 1-866-mini says it's still waitng to be transported. Transported from VDC? Strange...

 

Call your MA, Kek. Heck, our little ones may have came on the same truck.

 

Mine arrived today at the dealership...I won't be able to get her till Thursday(I am out of town) Built 5/17/07. I am sooo excited....

 

I did call and left a message. Him returning my phone calls doesn't come hand in hand. The customer service from this dealership is little be desired but didn't want to drive to Dallas or Houston, bad enough having to drive to SA from North Austin as it is.


Pretty cool if we are on the same truck- our mini's are virtual twins (born and delivered the same day )

Well I talked to my MA and he said should be here on Wednesday so I bet our mini's are together on the truck. How sad, they have been together since birth and now will be separated soon

 

We'll have to get them together one night in Austin. After they are weaned and all.
It's only 90 miles. And that run thru Lexington could be fun.

Glad you made it thru the wait. Here the clock is still crawling. I wish I could take a nap for 3 days! We pick her up on Friday and I leave Friday night for Del Rio. The wife will be on her on road trip in the MINI. Damn the luck!

Well I finally contacted my MA after hearing you Texans talk about your cars getting in this week. Originally my MA mentioned I should have my Scarlett for our local MINI meet this saturday but in a second email said with any luck I should be motoring in two weeks. Then when I checked owner's lounge it said I was still enroute so I phoned the 1-866-ASK-MINI number and it said in transit. I was all confused as to where my Scarlett was. I phoned the 1-866-ASK-MINI again today only to hear that my vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel! OMG what on earth???? They are shipping her BACK??? Nooooooooo she was to have a one way ticket.......to me! At any rate, my MA responded with this:

We aren't long now for waiting, I ordered your accessories yesterday and they should be arriving Thursday!

Your MINI has been through the VPC and has all of her fluids topped off. She is currently waiting to be picked up by Wagoneers Trucking. She is currently scheduled to arrive here in Jacksonville on Saturday, June 16th. The Monday after she arrives I should be able to get her programmed and have the accessories installed. I estimate the delivery date to be Tuesday, June 19th.

I was hoping to have her here in time so you could attend the JAMM meeting with her and show her off. Unless the truck driver's name is Mario Andretti, I don't think it will happen. :(

It indeed helps! Maybe the "waiting at the port for a shipping vessel" meant she was awaiting a truck but it scared me nonetheless. Looks like you Texans will be taking delivery before me. I work next Mon, Tues, Wed so earliest I see me taking delivery would be Thursday. *sigh* The wait.......continues!

chiki143 your MA seems really nice to give you a lengthy answer with the trucking company name etc. Mine just says, be here on wednesday. Oh well, at least I have some info. Don't worry, 866-mini says the same thing about waiting for a vessel for me-website still says VDC, so I think after it gets on a ship, tracking is worthless.

 

Congrats on receiving your baby Acebutt! And YES, kek my MA is awesome! He joins in our local MINI meets and has been most helpful! I'd highly recommend him anyday.

As a matter of fact, I am. Did something give it away? My owner's lounge finally updated today to say I was at the VDC. It's going to be a looooooong week.

I just got off the phone with MINI of the Woodlands. The receptionist said my MA was out for training, but they hadn't received any cars today (that she knew of). She would have my MA call me when he came in.
I hope they are training him on how to chase down a truck!
