Schedule change for Liberty!!!!!

She is docked and loading today, the 25th. Schedule says she departs today. WOOHOO!

 

YAY LIBERTY! Give me liberty, or give me death! This is GREAT news! Load 'em up already! What stinks is our ship is headed to the north first. Still expected in Charleston on the 9th of June?

 

Scheduled for the 9th still. That may change over time. I figure they left the dates that far ahead unchanged, just in case.
My numbers still dont show up onboard. My MA called me, told me my info track was ahead of his.
Hoover dam, I feel so much better after hearing that.

ACK! The Liberty has set sail already and my VIN is still showing as no tracking info! Could it be she has set sail without us? Noooooooooooo! I just mailed my MA so hopefully he will have more info. The 1-866-ASK-MINI and Owner's lounge still show me sitting on the dock awaiting shipping vessel. *CRY* Let me know if you hear anything 4xAAA! Looks like the next ship to Charleston doesn't sail until 6/3! *CRY MORE*

 

Take solace, there is a post in the 1st gear "Track your MINI" thread that the WW site runs 2-3 days behind.
Mine shows sitting on the dock, too.
If we had access to the shipping manifest, we could check our VINs, but nobody really explains that in that thread.
It will be a long weekend!

EDIT: It is 6 pm Central, I still show the Liberty docked in Southampton! Hope floats at the dock!

 

I hope mine is on the liberty as well! ask mini and the website still says sitting at dock. It has been sitting at the dock since the 18th. MA says that typically our babies don't sit on the dock no more than 5 days, so it would make sense that we are all the liberty. The WW still doesn't recognize my vin either. I would feel better knowing which ship I was actually on. Need to call the MA....

 

 

Did you ever hear from your MA, Kek? I emailed mine but no response. Phoned 1-866-ASK-MINI and spoke to a rep and got absolutely nowhere. I guess we do what we've been doing.......WAIT! *sigh*:impatient

Same story with me. MA, no help, mini on the phone, no help, mini on the web, no help. According to website, still on the dock. The prerecorded message on ask-mini says the same. I spoke with a rep and he says it can very well be on a boat since it wouldn't sit at the dock for more than 5 days.

I assume it's not on the Emden (pretty sure it didn't leave the 22nd- i think I would have an update by now), so it has to be on the liberty that left the 25th or a whole other boat that no one knows of.

Nope, no confirmation of anything. All sources still say I'm sitting at the dock. You were right........looooooooong weekend!

 

Knowing it was gonna be long hasn't made it easier!

My only hope is the MINI USA. The seem to update the tracking info Sunday night twixt 8-10 pm central. Fingers crossed!

On a separate note, you said twixt which I know you meant as between but now I have a sweet chocolately, crunchy craving!

 

So when you call the 866-ask-mini, where exactly is that? I know in the states, but where? I doubt we will get an update tomorrow with a holiday on Monday

 

I was told by my dealership that ASK-MINI is in New Jersey.

 

Columbus Ohio. I asked them on the phone. We compared notes on living near big universities.

On an unrelated note:
3 Muskateers, Hersheys (male and Female), Mars Bar, Nestle's Crunch, Snickers, Milky Way, Reese Cups, Mr Goodbar, Almond Joy, Mounds, Whatchamacallit, and plain ole Kisses.

K-Line had another ship, Frisia, that ported at Southampton on the 25th. I didn't watch for it because I had my eye on Emden.
So there have been at least 3 ships at the dock, heading to Charleston, since our babies started rolling.
Who knows?

 

Well hopefully, I'm on one of these boats! Still says i'm on the dock- for 10 days now!

I called my MA around lunch. His internet was running slow, so he told me he would call me back.

He must have worked for the cable company at some time in his past.

I called my MA back this morning, he gave me the info. I was wrong above (and will edit), Baltimore is the first port.
MINIUSA stills says we are waiting at the dock. AskMINI told me after the MINI was delivered to the docks, they were unable to track it any further.
Call your MA.
I am still glee filled with the news!

I did speak to the MA. He did say my car is on a boat! However, he couldn't tell me which one He did say that it will be in South Carolina on the 7th. I'm pretty sure it's the Frisia since it arrives in SC on the 7th. Too bad we can't track it online.
