Hit my 1200 mark yesterday... Sport button wasn't as fun as I thought it would be... it's ok though.. i'm still excited about it...

I think theres a more noticable difference in manual cars, your accel through each gear.

Are you supposed to stay off the Sport Button within the 1200 mile break-in? I thought it was just keeping it under 100 MPH and 4500 RPMs??

yea sports button can be used when ever, its just the 4500 rpms and the 100mph fro the first 1k ish miles. but once again, some people dont think you need that at all, some just think the frst tank of gas

I think the Sport Button with the manual 6-speed makes a huge difference; it's like night and day. Without the sport button the car feels fairly moderately powered. With the Sport Button, 2nd gear can get you into some scary territory...

My break-in plan is simple. I'm going to pick up the car in L.A. then drive it to Tucson. 5 days later I'll drive to Seattle where it will sit for a year

It should be broken in by the time I pass back through L.A. on the way to Seattle.

mommas....standard or auto??? I can see staying away from sport mode if one has an auto tranny as in sm more shifts happen at or around 4K rpms than not. One is bound to go over if pushing it at all. Out of sm shifts seem to happen at about 3K rpms. Much more safe.

On a manual this would not be an issue as only steering and throttle are affected.

I have to say, I really like the new OBC display better than mine. It's nice to see more than one thing at a time!
