R55 fuel filter replacement?

All I can find is for 1st gen. Is there a difference in procedure for a 2008?
I've got 115k and no paperwork from previous owners of it ever having been changed. How do you remove the seat to access the filter?

You need to search the forums for fuel filter
replacement. It's there trust me. Or buy the Bentley manual.

No disrespect to you I'm sure you just need
help but there are way too many posts on here
asking for things that already exist. People get tired of regurgitating the same things over and over. Use the search function and read a few pages until you find it.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks for the kind words but I did 'search' and only found 1st gen. If the posts were so obvious you could have been nice enough to post the links.

Thanks for the links but they are not for a 2008 Clubman. I can't seem to find anything that relates to my mini.

This should apply to the clubman.
It's essentially the same car as the R56

OK, thanks. I never assume that what works for one will be the same for another unless someone can verify it. That is different from the 1st gen instructions, but when I saw what models it covered and my R55 was not on the list............

Whatever you do, don't forget you can blow up on this particular DIY project. I don't consider it a beginner project, although I have no idea of your wrenching skills. Good luck!

Well, I don't smoke and haven't quit on any projects yet. I just like to know in advance where I'm going rather than driving with no lights.
