2014 Clubman Spare tire

After waiting since October,my new Clubman S should arrive in the next week or so... I want to get a spare tire for it, and this is my question: Will a regular sized tire fit in the boot so I would not have to switch back to front like you have to with the Mini Donut spare? The car is ordered with 17" rubber...
Thanks

Nope, you have to use the donut spare. And it will only fit in the rear wheels.

In addition to the donut spare, I had to get a jack and a different styrofoam "tool holder" spec'd for a MINI with 15 inch wheels that came with a space saver spare.

I didn't need to get a jack for my 2013. I just ordered the wheel kit and foam piece from Detroit tuned. Everything else moved right over from my stock piece of foam.

That's correct. And you need an adapter if you have the big brake kit.

This is the safest and recommended way of using any Donut spare on a FWD car. You never want to have a donut in the front because it can cause steering/handling issues more than if it is in the back. This stinks because it means if you have a flat in the front, you should swap the back good tire to the front before replacing with the donut in the back.
