R55 White silver stripes
I always like stripes that match the contrasting roof color. And I also think that if you use more than three colors on the MINI, the look becomes confused and overdone.
If you can post a pic of your MINI, it would help us to help you. Need to see if you have any other colors used... brake calipers, mirror caps, etc. The pics in your gallery are of a CR Clubman.

With white and black, the options are pretty open to anything. But IMO, if you introduce a new color, something other than black, then you need to tie that color in with the car in other areas... the brake calipers, mirror caps, brake duct inlets, etc.

I'd suggest just putting a black pinstripe on the sides on whatever color you want to use. The easiest way to add color without going overboard is just get your stripes and mirrors done in the same color, possibly brake ducts too (if you have them). Maybe go with Sport stripes so it looks a little more aggressive or even Countryman stripes. Don't be afraid, worse thing that can happen is you peel em off.
The added pinstripe to a stripe gives it more pop.

+1 to the pinstripe suggestions - the little bit of color from a pinstripe has a surprisingly big impact and makes the black or white stripes unique.
You could also do a unique pattern. Some examples: http://www.mini-graphics.co.uk/mini-...bonnet-stripes

+1 on the contrasting pinstripes - for some reason, my CR Clubman w/black roof has silver stripes on the red but black stripes on the black. Huh? My MA tried to tell me they were actually 'charcoal' - no, man, they're black! LOL!
Anyhow, I figured I could either replace the black stripes on the roof, or offset them with contrasting 1/4" pinstripes...I think it'll be a good look, I've seen similar treatments on other cars and it looked good. Will post pics after its done...
