R55 Where does this piece go?
Where does this piece go?
After a car wash while drying up the back of my 2009 Clubman I opened the barn doors and ran a towel along the inside of the doors. When I went to close the left door I noticed it wouldn't close and there was a rubber stopper sitting there. I picked it up and then the door would close.
The problem is that I have no idea where it goes.
The part number is mini 51492756547.
I found a layout of the Clubman rear on this webpage (Part #15): http://parts.miniofsouthatlanta.com/...ey_trimLevel=0
After looking at it I'm still at a loss. I think I need to see a picture or another Clubman backside so I know where it goes.
I have also attached a picture of the actual rubber bumper.
I appreciate your assistance.

rubber stoppper
I have knocked mine off a couple of times with a towel also. It wedges right in the middle of the doors jst above the bumber cover. There is a large round bolt there that you have to wiggle it around to get it seated properly.
Diagrams
Where did you find this diagram? I have been looking around for a site that has them, but have been unsuccessful. Just want to make sure I have all components necessary for some DIY jobs.
Thanks!
