Done with my car after 3 hours!
I finally finished. Whew! Probably lost 10 pounds with all the sweat and elbow grease. I washed Kazzie and clay barred everything. Finally, I get to try out my new can of Meguiar's #16. Bought a can of the stuff off a Canadian website since I can't find it anywhere in the US (God, thank you for creating Canada!). The stuff is old school. I mean, I can't remember the last time I had to use a screwdriver to open a can of wax. The wax was blue! Very weird. It was extremely dense. I read other forums about the stuff and everyone said the same thing: go easy on it! It was tough just getting the stuff to stick to the applicator! I put on a VERY, VERY thin coat.
It was not easy to remove.

I was pretty sore but now, I'll see how long it lasts. Numerous people online claim nothing can outlast this stuff so it's wait and see. Just in time too as August in Texas will be brutal. Has anyone else used Meguiar's #16? How long will it last? One forum talked about it and a user claims he waxed his car in November of last year before snow hit his town. He didn't have to add any until late February. Considering that the wax was so hard to take off, I'm betting about 2-3 months give or take. Still, that'll cut my waxing time in half.

Only 3 hours?
Must be a record? Sure you didn't skip a step?
Just Kidding.
I bet it sparkles like a diamond! Clay bar as the first step makes a huge difference in the entire process.

Since you begged so much, here are a few. Don't expect anything eye-popping. Meguiar's #16 is sought out for its durability, not its shine. Like I said, every user I talked to claims nothing will outlast it, not even the $1,000 can of Zymol Vintage.
Zaino will last twice as long and give you a much deeper shine.
It really is that good. Especially on a light colored car.

beasleyboy, I think you missed a spot on the left rear side of your boot
. Looks good. My last Ziano process took 2 hours, 30mins after I finished we had a heavy down poor
Shoot, I'll be posting pictures from my iphone of me picking it up and sitting in it for the first time - granted that'll be to my facebook acct, but i'll post em don't worry hahaha
An update: I am sooo glad I took the time to use the wax. Not a moment too soon as it POURED this morning at work. I could hear the water slamming into the roof of the building and the ceiling is 20 feet high! At the end of the day, I went out to my car. Not a drop of water on it except the windows.
Holy #%$^! It must have beaded water like a wimpy cat tossed into a swimming pool! And I barely used any of the wax in the can (well, when looking at it, you wouldn't know that I used any of it!). I suspect, at this rate, those cans will last me 6-8 years give or take. And that's taking into account that I might wax my dad's truck since he never has time to do it.
