Magnaflow Exhaust

Has anyone had any experiences with MagnaFlow exhausts for the Clubman or Cooper?

I have one on my Clubman and my mom has one on her Cooper. The exhaust on my mom's cooper is noticeably louder than what I have on my Clubman. That isn't to say that what I have on my Clubman is quiet, but it's more tame. It isn't nearly as aggressive as some Clubmans will ALTA exhausts that I've heard.

jtc, so you do have one on a non-S? I was looking at them on their website, and all the ones I saw were dual exhaust, although one model had a fair amount of space between each exhaust. Any chance of posting a picture? Thanks for any info!

That is correct. I'm currently out of town visiting relatives, so I can't take any pictures right now. I have one picture of the back of my Clubman that you can kind of see the exhaust in.

That's the best I have right now. I can get some better pictures and a video clip of the sound when I get home on the 10th.

Thanks I saw a few on eBay looked pretty cheap low $700s. I am hoping Riss Racing will make one or exhaust depot.

I bought a Magnaflow muffler and dual 4 inch, double walled tips. Had Ripley's Muffler (HIGHLY recommend them) here in Houston weld this comb onto the stock exhaust piping after the resonator. Sound was better than stock but not great. Butt dyno didn't show much improvement.

Then, I bought the full Invidia Q300 downpipe-back system-no resonator. I went back to Ripley's and had them remove the polished Invidia muffler and replace it with the Magnaflow muffler and tips and weld everything up.

SHHWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!

MUCH better sound, butt dyno is happier, and NO DRONING at any speed.

Have the Riss Racing downpipe and Stage ll BOV on order. Can't wait to see/feel the difference in tone at WOT and get Bo on the dyno!!
