DSC standard as of 2008 MY......
Buttons on MFSW steering wheel have a black background on 2008s..... They are white on 2009s...
Front seat headrests are different on 2008s vs 2009s (2009 provide better whiplash protection but also more uncomfortable).
AUX/USB port is fully recessed underneath center console on 2008s.....Now the port is better positioned underneath center console on 2009s....
I drove on Wednesday a brand new Dark Silver/Silver 2009 Clubman S 6-speed manual (Dealer loaner while my 2008 Clubman S was being serviced).... Honestly.... Nice car, but I like my 2008 Clubman S automatic much, much better. Did not care for the engagement point of the clutch and the somewhat "vague" shifter... Easily kept hitting 3rd gear instead of 1st at stoplights. The clutch/shifter in my 2005 MCS is much better in both counts.

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.
