Clubman License Plate Frame?

I'm looking to replace the plastic dealer plate frame with a stainless one, but all I can find is ones that say MINI, Cooper, CooperS, and Let's Motor, along with the Union Jack and checkerboard ones, and the MINI logo one. The dealer says there's one that just says "CLUBMAN," available both in satin black and silver (chrome?) but I can't find one. I didn't have the chutzpah to ask for the part# to go hunting for one, but if anyone can direct me to that number and/or to a pic, I'd appreciate it.

Hi Hoonu,
I purchased the Clubman license plate frame at the Mini tent at Mini Takes The States in Boston in June. The part number is 80 12 0 440 140 and is described as, "Polished Frame With Black/Silver Clubman". I'll attach a photo. It says "Runs On Irregular" on top. Sorry about the poor photo quality.

Thanks, MunjoyMini! I searched parts.com, and that comes up as "polished." Yours looks like a crinkle or marbled black finish. Is that correct?

Mini North Scottsdale put one of these plates on my Clubby when I picked him up in February. They might still have them. They gave it to me for my two-year wait.

Clubman License Plate Frame?

I like the looks of that Clubman frame. Especially the' Runs on Irregular' part.

I just did a search on that Clubman frame and (WOWSERS! ) $36.42 per frame is more than I expected. My cheap 'Scottish Heart' won't let me spend that much on a trinket.
I might just get a blank black frame and emboss it myself, or modify the 'dealer' frames.

Good morning hoonu,
No, the finish is bright chrome. I'll try to take a better photo in just a bit. I paid $40 for it, expensive but it's the only external item that identifies the model as a Clubman. My front license plate holder is the checkered style to match the mirrors.

I was in Albuquerque this last weekend and stopped by Sandia MINI in hopes of getting a Clubman license plate frame. They had exactly the same as hoonu listed so I had to settle with the MINI logo one. The "Black Jack" subdued Union Jack frame would have been my second choice but they only had the Union Jack. Since I have to display 2 plates, I may eventually obtain one of the two so I can get rid of my dealer installed Sandia MINI frame.

Here are two photos taken in the daylight. As you can see, it really is a chrome finish. Sorry about the poor quality flash photo of yesterday.

Thanks a bunch for the pics. I like that one. I'd agree that $41 is steep (I'm also a Scot by lineage...and temperament) but that seems to be par for MINI goodies. I get a discount from the dealer for being part of the local club, so maybe that will suffice.

I also got a MINI one off of ebay. . .under $10. It's chrome with a frosted MINI logo. I love it. I could buy 3 of them before it would equal the price of the MINI branded ones. I'm sure the seller could make/get a Clubman one if asked.

Ah. You could also describe the logo as "etched," rather than printed.
