Yes I still need help with the Icon, I copied it and pasted it and it shows on my signature, but then it doesn't appear, its got me scratching my head.

 

That's funny, I noticed that this morning! See we aren't the ONLY ones who want our own club!! Maybe non-clubman owners are jealous so thats why they didn't want us to start our own club! (j/k)

Oh and congrats -- you officially have enough post's and are in 1st gear... I don't know why but I keep trying to get to the next level like its a game or something! Can't figure out how many it takes to get to third gear... I'm stuck in 2nd right now...

 

I noticed I went into first gear, and with meaningless posts like this one I'm on my way to 2nd gear, I did find somewhere how many posts it takes for each gear, but for the love of me I can't remember where.

 

Here are the number of posts needed for each gear.

it's listed in the FAQs 1st Gear11, 2nd Gear51, 3rd Gear151, 4th Gear301, 5th Gear 601, 6th Gear1101
and on top of that I'm one more closer to 2nd gear, this is turning into an obession!!!!!!!!

Placed some pics in my gallery..(tom9black) went a driving up to the Skyline Drive this Saturday... awesome car... I even let my wife drive and she loved it (oh NO!!) The Mini was tight on the curves and really felt good. Going out tomorrow too on some obscure Virginia back roads! Cant wait!

 

Ok now we need to get some pics I'm doing a club ride for the solstice Sat. so will post some of my car then.

 

+1 on needing pics - I love looking at pics of Mini's!! And when trying to pick a color, the most logical place to look at pics should be in the color-specific threads, don't you think? But I still haven't seen a single picture of the exterior of the car I ordered (non-S Clubman PW/Silver roof & stripes). Of course I suppose if I could find a picture of one, I'd be drooling myself to sleep every night.

It was a picture of a PW/Silver Clubman S that finally helped make up my mind (Thank you, Uncle John) and pull me back from the dark side (NFR/Black) and order this combo. When my car does finally show up (OK, its my wife's car) next month, my gallery will be full.

 

Sign me up! My PW/PW/Black is on its way right now and I should be driving it within a month.

Saw a new pepper white clubman in my apt. complex today! Very smooth looking! Makes me want one now!

 

Was is me? I have yet to see another clubman let alone a PW one in CO.

 

I spoke with my MA this morning. Delivery of my Clubman S is set for 3:00 pm today! The weather here in Maryland is just beautiful, so it looks like a great weekend coming up!

Also, my MA told me that that MINI has a new color combo coming out which they call "The Tuxedo". He said it is almost my exact car, including the sport stripes, but with black wheels! Pretty cool, huh?

 

Please include me as apart of this special group. My PW/B Clubman S should be here shortly - hopefully I'll pick it up next Saturday!

Her name will be Elphie, short for Elphaba.

Hey all:

I was able to take delivery on my PW/B Clubman S today! What a great car! I am very happy with the way the sport stripes look on the Clubman.

Only problems were that some colorblind English guy installed cream armrest on the passenger door (correct) and a gray armrest on the driver door (very incorrect!) and we were missing a little cover for the tow plug on the rear bumper. The armrest kinda shocked everyone when we noticed it. They said they had never seen that before! The are placing the orders to correct these two items.

Nice looking cars lewe1773 and richs10 Love the stripes Crazy about the armrests thats a big mistake to say the least. Do be careful with speed in the new rides I know myself and a few others got tickets in the first few days. They get going quick
