How did it go? What dealer did you use? It would be great to have another PW Clubman around here...

MAN that's a fun car to drive!!! On the way home from the dealer, I looked at the speedometer and, whoops, going 90. I, of course, quickly slowed down to a tame 70. But, hee, everytime I accelerated to merge or come off a stoplight, I heard this little "whoa" from the backseat. I think my daughter likes it. I asked her if she wanted this to be her car in 8 years (she's 8), and she said "oh yeah Mom!"

Hey all:
I was able to take delivery on my PW/B Clubman S today! What a great car! I am very happy with the way the sport stripes look on the Clubman.
Only problems were that some colorblind English guy installed cream armrest on the passenger door (correct) and a gray armrest on the driver door (very incorrect!) and we were missing a little cover for the tow plug on the rear bumper. The armrest kinda shocked everyone when we noticed it. They said they had never seen that before! The are placing the orders to correct these two items.
Here are some pics I took while waiting to close the deal today:

Ok let me know if the instructions need to be more detailed or if this makes sence.
1. From the icons to choose from put your mouse over the one you want – right click, select “save picture as”. Then save it to your computer (your desktop is easiest to find later)
2. On the Left control panel select “User CP”
3. Then again in the left control panel select “Edit Signature”
4. In the third box down “Signature Picture” select “Browse” (from “upload from my computer”) then find it where ever you saved it.
5. In the second box, “edit signature” where you can type your text – DO NOT remove the first line “[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]” this is where your picture will appear once you save. After or before this line you can type whatever you want as part of your signature.
6. Then at the bottom hit save or preview to see what it looks like. If it doesn’t come up on the preview it won’t show up in the forums.

Ok, here are some exterior pics....been driving Wubbzy around for a few days and just love love love him. We drove up to the beach on Sunday...took some twisties up and back and it was FUUUUUNNNNN!!! My husband was amazed and the handling & power....but he's used to either his B.A.T. (big a$$ truck) or his motorcycle.
I'll post interior pics in a few...really liking the gotham grey with the light headliner. Really REALLY liking the ambient lighting effects too. Those are fun

We're almost there...... Anyone else getting a tad bit anxious?
I got a letter in the mail from my MA today, telling me that the ship is almost to California and it takes 7-14 days to get the car once it arrives at the VDC!
7 days is the minimum for getting through the VDC AND getting to Seattle!!!!! I'm excited!!!! (But with my luck the truck will break down or something and it will be 15 days until I get my car...)
The waiting continues...

I know.... But the weather has turned here in Seattle and now its 70+ everyday and I plan my day around what's closest to me becuause I have no air conditioning!!! I'm borrowing my friends Kia while she's in Greece until my car get's here. So I sit and whine about it and whine about waiting for my Clubman... I'm sure my hubby is sick of listening to me! Heck I'm sure some of you are too lol!

The Courage gets to Jersey City on the 2nd. Dealer is just a couple hours from there. Allowing 10 days at VDC, I figure I'll get the car somewhere between the 10th and the 15th. I hope you have yours by then. If your truck breaks down, know that someone else will be...
