I agree. Sport Stripes on PW look great. I added the chrome scoop to break up the sport stripes. Here are a couple of better shots.

Absolutely - that chrome scoop is a perfect addition to your PW/BLK with those stripes. Very nice looking. Now control yourself and don't add anymore - it's perfect.

 

So,.....I shouldn't get the stock wheels chromed???

Hey, I love chrome. Chrome wheels would look really nice, but being rather lazy myself I'd be concerned about how they might show more brake dust and wondered about the toughness of the chrome.

Here are two photos of my favorite chrome wheels. Would love to have them, but I'm sure they're very expensive.

Aren't those the BBS wheels? Pretty sweet.. I think we are going to go with Black wheels most likely Konig Feathers with Non-Run Flats....

holy COW - the JCW clubman is $7100 more then the Clubbie S. I think S will do just fine... (base MSRP) that 197 bucks per HP - expensive HP if you ask me.

 

good luck with the wait. mines at the distribution center as we speak. my wait really wasn't too bad, actually arrived earlier than we expected. i did check the owners lounge daily though .

Here's how neurotic I am. I have had my car 4 weeks this week. It is a 3 year lease. I am already thinking about how popular they are now, how long the wait is, and I see gas only getting more expensive, and MINIs only getting cooler and less available.

So I am already "waiting" on my next one. And I figure if things keep progressing like I was saying above, I might need to place my order after Christmas for 2012 model.

 

You have 3 weeks on us, we are week 40. We try to spend our waiting time here on NAM. I also spend a lot of time looking at wheels, buying parts for the audio upgrade, searching for a cheap spare tire since I am going to swap out the Run-Flats for Non-Run-Flats on the new rims.

 

I'm trying so hard to keep mine as I ordered it. Lady Godiva in her Hot Chocolate Clubman has a few tempting goodies in hers (Tuscan leather options) that I'm trying to resist, but I think I just might go ahead and get.

So I'm thinking that all this waiting is bad because what else can you do but hang out here and at MINIusa and look at all the OTHER things you can get on your MINI!

 

Called 866 ASK MINI, they now say we are week 38, so that is exciting. My wife added the interior surface Piano. The Tuscan really looks nic.

 

Yes, I LOVE Lady Godiva's wheels...very nice. I saw a HC Clubman in London a few weeks ago with the Tuscan interior and decided right then and there - we HAD to get one. We ended up with PW - for many reasons (eventhough that HC is sooo delicious). Rasputinj and I cannot wait to get ours (temp name right now is Tuxman - because of the black and white).
