Welcome Vix Klub! Which color combination did you get?

Congrats at least week 40 is not too far way, we are in production now and should be done on Monday.
Finally! Here she is, we call her Double Stuff Oreo. Picked her up this past Thurs. Finally got a chance to post pics, too busy motoring. 1st pick from dealer, latter are after few mods.
Is that our first PW JCW ???? Looks great! Have fun but be careful I now have 2(first in 10 years) tickets since owning my mini.
I too am worried, very easy to exceed speed limit. When i first drove out the dealers lot, looked at speedo and was doing 85 . Looked into a K40 radar detector, very expensive, but then so is a tix not to mention points.

Congrats!! Looks great!! We don't have ours yet (pick it up next month, should be on a boat this week ), but I too worry about speeding tickets!
argh.... I hate being at work. They (our IT guys) have a system that scrubs all pics from our system. All I see of our first PW JCW is a blank screen...
Joep - that is soooo sad. rasputinj and I work at the same company (he's an IT/IS dude) and fortunately, we can see pictures, BUT they recently blocked you tube because it's clogging up the network . I guess I should be thankful I can see the pictures!

Yep, me, too. I was able to catch the photos before logging in to my secure server for work.
my pw cooper clubman is being picked on on friday ....cant wait
I am jealous...but, good for you!!! Your car doesn't have to go as far as mine - mine has to travel from UK through the Panama Canal, to a port outside of LA, get on a truck and then be driven to Las Vegas! We live in LA, but will be going to Vegas to pick up our PW/B because we can't get one in LA before Feb 09!!

What's weird is we can see some pics, but not all. I think they are blocking sites (like photobucket,etc.). So any picture coming from a known "photo" website is kept off of our servers.
Lady G, I'll have to wait until I get home from class tonight. It's a pity I didn't bring my laptop with me... But then I'd just surf during class.
Joep - well, you should be able to see the photos I post then...I'm not sophisticated enough to post on a photo site (despite my spouse is an IT person...).

I see nothing.
I guess all pics are being hosted by a website that we are blocking and not uploaded from a pc.
thanks for the welcome to the club and sorry for the late reply but we have been knocked out of power since sunday just after i posted! here in ohio we had winds up to 80mph so half the trees in the area are resting on the powerlines....well i may exaggerate a bit.... but i am thankful my daughter lives close and is all back on! she on the other hand is not very happy that i am getting a mini before she does....my clubman will be the first in the family! of course i will share...won't i?? so we are all anxiously awaiting klubbie's arrival! she won't be all decked out but we will love her all the same! pepper white, black roof and mirrors, sport stripes, premium pkg, checkered sunroof and plates, and my husband insisted...armrest....so he can rest his arm while i am driving him CRAZY!!!

Our mini expected in Charleston on the 25th due to dealer 3-5 days later
The wait is killing me
I've heard the worst part of the wait is from the distribution center till you get it. I had a hard time waiting while Bianca just sat at the port in Southampton, but now she's on her ship. I should be able to hold on for a couple more weeks... Shouldn't I?

You'll be fine - you have all of us to support you! Our Tuxman will be boarding his ship on Sunday (21 Sep)...the waiting is hard, but it will be well-worth it! You're in the home stretch!!

this is the worst part! my car is less than an hour away from me in Port Hueneme, but I have to wait until the weekend--hopefully--to pick it up in Las Vegas! I want my whitechocolatespaceegg! (the name I think I am giving my PW/S/S--I think it will look like one, whatever one looks like. My wife helped me choose the name (and color). She was a Liz Phair fan growing up.)
I found the ship portion of the journey to be the least stressful. Waiting for build was stressful, and waiting for the build to finish was too. But mine was on a WW ship and I was able to track the little dots all the way from Southampton to the Panama Canal, which made me feel better.
ebh - we're in the same place (rasputinj and I)...worse yet, we live IN Ventura County (~ 20 minutes from Port Hueneme)!! But also are driving to Vegas to pick ours up! We're going to turn the 'pick up the PW trip' into a big celebration of our new PW/B!! Boo-ya!
