I've watched a lot of his videos. He is pretty nitpicky when it comes to luxury. This is why he knocks the clubman.

Not the worst review I've seen, though I did notice he said the Clubman is 6 inches longer, when in fact it's 9.4 inches longer. Also, he complained about the Pixar interior. Am I the only one who finds most other car interiors boring?

I've always preferred offbeat interiors. I think it can probably be attributed to my years in a Land Rover Defender, which, among other things, had the ignition on the wrong side of the steering column, AC vents at knee level, and a random trough that ran the length of the dash. No color line, though...

I absolutely agree with you. Before I was 100% decided on the Clubman, I went over to the Honda dealership and drove the Accord Coupe V6. While it was an all right car, handled okay, and had a decent amount of power, the interior was cheap and boring.

I really was unimpressed with the quality of the materials used, and the way it was laid out just wasn't pleasing to the eye. The MINI keeps things interesting, and although it's very different than just about anything else out there, that's how it should be. The MINI is eccentric, and the interior should, and does reflect that. In addition, the MINI interior feels well made, and quality materials were used.

I agree with you on the honda's. They are getting way to "Japanees" looking and boring. The Mini's at least don't look like jellybeans going down the road like honda's do.

You are definitely not the only one. The interior of the clubman was one of the main selling points for me!

I wouldnt mind if the interior was slightly more conservative looking. I would like it if they moved the gauges to their traditional places and also if they decreased the amount of long curved plastic interior panels. I do like that it stands out but I guess I am used to conservative interiors. It is still nice nonetheless and theres too many other good things about the mini for me to still want one.

Want conservative? Try a Dodge for a day. Any one will do... they're all the same.

When I first got my Hot Orange mini, I thought the interior was over the top. But I've grown to love it. Most car interiors are blander then milk toast, and after you've had the car a few months, you get in and yawn. Same with folks you take for a ride. With the mini, after a year, I still enjoy the interior as much as the exterior, and passengers are always impressed. Different is good.

The Mini interior is the first car interior that gives me a little joy when I slide into seat each morning. And it's basically functional. I will admit I have the Chrono package, and I'm not a fan of the big center mount speedo.

I love the retro interior of the MINI. That is why it sticks out. Because it isn't supposed to look like any other car.

No, you are not. I now find most interiors as well as most other aspects of blamobiles boring. Yea, the interior of a MINI doesn't look like the interior of a Ford Focus. It was intentionally designed that way. Most reviewers don't get it.
