Hello all!
Took delivery of my Lightning Blue Clubman S on Saturday...
Used to have a Dodge Magnum AWD RT (the one w/ the hemi) and could not stomach putting $65/6 days of gas into that beast... Decided I had to get rid of it to save $ on gas, but still wanted the performance...
Began w/ the followng requirements:
1) <$30k price;
2) > 30 mpg economy;
3) <7.5s 0-60;
4) Useable rear seat;
This narrowed down the field to a few (among others Civic Si, Scion Tc, Subaru WRX) but the only one w/ style was the Clubman!
300 miles later and.... WOW!!!
Looking forward to meeting and learning from all of you here!...

Didn't have my autosig fixed up right... It's Lightning Blue w/ Silver roof and contrast elements... Major packages are Premium, Sport & Cold Weather...

Unfortunately anything with more than 4 cylinders now days is just a never ending money pit at the pump.

I didn't plan on getting a MINI in the beginning. I was actually looking at CR-Vs and Wranglers! I saw the Consumer reports on MINIs, drove by the lot, took a test drive. . .and was HOOKED. Now, I have a MINI. . .and an obsession!

The cute dude in the sunglasses is the next owner of the Clubman - he already claims it to be "his car" and let me & Chrissy know that he will never let us trade the Mini... I promised him it's his in 9 years when he's old enough to drive!
