New Order Going Fast Up To Now

Ordered my car on February 15th..... a Friday. Order was scheduled for production February 17th according to The Owner's Lounge. Car was complete February 22nd a week after order was placed. I am think WOW this is really going fast. Car moved to the Docks for shipping on Monday February 25th and as of late this afternoon 8 days after leaving the factory. What was your experience from factory until it was finally on a ship heading to the USA? I know I was lucky to get my car built so fast but just wondered how long it takes to get on board?

About 7-8 days at port. Mine missed two boats even though it was there in-time. Once you set sail, it should take the better part of 4-5 weeks to actually get the vehicle.... Checkout 1st Gear threads to see how other boat voyages occurred. I missed the Adia and Asian Emperor but caught the Turandot (which just arrived into port in California last night).

Our Clubmans have the same birthday! Mine is on a ship due into NY this Friday, 03/07, and yours may be, as well, if you're waiting for an East Coast delivery.
Put your complete VIN in this link, and it will give you the exact time your Clubman was loaded, if it's on a ship. If you get an error when you first get to the page, just hit refresh, then enter your VIN.

You know this will be the third time I'll be going through this delivery experience, but it's still exciting. I envy you all who will be taking delivery before you know it. Well, surely before I will.

Hang in there!

Shipping is extra!

Just kidding...ours sat at the dock for about 8 days but one never really knows because they use 2 different lines to ship the Mini & on one they don't tell you much. It might be half way over already. njp

We're all waiting for the Otello. It leaves Wednesday in honor of ltlr-n-u's car. Lets all hope that our cars don't get bumped this time.

While I haven't done the actual ordering yet, (Tomorrow Hopefully) my dealer has told me that the order lead time has gone up dramatically recently. He is telling me that a car ordered right now is 8-12 weeks out now. Makes me want to cry when I hear what it could have been when WHM ordered his.

That being said I am excited to get out of a big SUV and back in to something that handles.

I was just lucky !! Turns out my dealer had car going into production for inventory. They pre-sold something like 20 Clubman and thought they needed to have some inventory in the pipe line. Ordered and made quickly but going on the second week of sitting at the docks waiting transport.

2/15 was the official launch date. Anyone who ordered after that probably has a significant wait.

My Clubman was ordered on 2/16 and was loaded on the ship today - The Liberty. East coast delivery to Boston via NYC. I'm hoping the timing works out that it arrives before the 24th. On the 25th I have an 11 day trip to Ohio and the west coast. I'm sure my dealer doesn't want to sit on my car for 2 weeks.......

Wow - thulewx and Copywrites - you two really had your orders move fast! I guess I'll just bide my time and live vicariously through everyone here.
