i have yet to see a clubman s in black, with a blk roof- will mine be the first?

i guess we are the only ones so far. what options did you get? i havent seen any real life photos yet.

 

Our Clubby "Max" is AB/ black top with HC interior. Looks like we'll pick him up tomorrow.

jupiterfish -- I noticed that you are in North MI, I was stationed near Sault St Marie in mid 70s. I remember one year we got 177 inches of snow. Beautiful country, make a nice road trip!

 

those days are back- we have been getting dumped since nov.
i went snowboarding today, we got 6" out of the blue last night, weather men were stumped- go figure

 

I want to be snowboarding. I went for the last time this season last Saturday because I had arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday. Although, if this snow keeps up, I might get a chance to go again if my doctor gives me an all clear when I see him on the 12th.

 

Im getting premium cold weather and convenience packages automatic. She has leatherette seats fluid silver and rooster red interior

She is hopefully getting on a boat soon, she has been at the dock since thursday

 

were on the dock also- we did all bk interior, with std dash and doors, thinking of carbon-in' it out later, handles gascap beltline etc.

That's the great thing about AB, any color interior works. You are planning on one of the black wheels, I assume. Which ones are you considering? I really like the OZs and the Team Dynamics with the polished rim. Decisions, decisions...

 

I like the silver roof and mirror covers. And I just had the rear color matched. See it at the Dragon next month.

Wednesday on her pick up day

 

In the bright light there is a hint of blue in the Astro Black.

 

They should have named it Astro Blue !

There has been no black MINI since they did away with Jet Black. Good bless the day when MINI gets smart and bring back JB !!

BTW, nice looking MINI, even if it is blue.

I just ordered an Astro Black Clubman S with a Silver roof and C Pillars, with Silver bonnet stripes. Major options:
- Convenience pkg (need that bluetooth!)
- Cold weather pkg (even in Dallas, it is nice to have a warm seat in the winter)
- Premium pkg (all good stuff)
- Steptronic (I face too much traffic to get the manual)
- Xenon headlights

I'm still mulling over names, but so far I'm favoring "Raider" due to the Oakland Raiders color scheme (no, I'm not a Raiders fan).

AB is a very nice color. I would like to see the Clubman S offered in yellow though. That would be my first color choice.

Is there a factory or aftermarket replacement for the front grill?

I'd like one without the chrome surround.
