Has Anybody Changed Their Order

Just ordered my car last friday (February 15th). Owner's lounge acknowledged order sunday (February 17th). Monday owner's lounge says scheduled for production... now the question? Thinking about adding sirius radio, has anybody changed their order after owner's lounge says car scheduled for production? I do not want to hold up my production schedule.

My recommendation would be to contact your salesperson asap. I'm sure they've dealt with these types of requests before, and can advise you if it's possible, and if it will cause any production delay.

It's possible but only up to a point. As the above poster said, call tomorrow first thing.

There is good news though... You can get the sirius installed aftermarket.

However, there is bad news... your dealership may try to just tell you it's too late so you have to have it installed afterwards.

I suggest telling them that you decided you wanted Sirius but only if it could get done at the factory... you can always tell them you "changed your mind" later.

Once it's scheduled for production, it's impossible to change anything. I suppose if you know someone special in Oxford, you might have some luck, but MINI USA and your MA can't do anything.

And, in my opinion $900 for Sirius is a wicked rip-off. I love satellite radio, but I wouldn't pay that much for it.

you can get the sirius for sooo much cheaper if you just get it after market and pay for the subscription
They are touting the $1K upgrade as a "life time subscription" but seriously a life time? omg even at less than $20 a month thats not a sound deal

Ive got the sportster 5 in Skulli and love it and plan on moving it to Wednesday...and they are a breeze to install
