R52 Why cabrios are better than hard tops
Why cabrios are better than hard tops
Driving along in my neighborhood today, I saw two large husky-style dogs trotting along the canal with no owner in sight.
Oh God. They're wet. They're muddy. They're lost. So what do I do? I pull over and call to see if they come. They're super friendly and have no problems plopping their muddy and fluffy selves onto my cordoba beige leather.
After we get home and I load the still wet and muddy dogs into my house, I look in the back of Fayt and see tufts of fluff flying all over and think to myself, "I am never going to get all of that stuff out!"
I wash the seats, but bits of fluff are still stiking to upholstery, carpet, me. I was about to go get the lint roller when it occurred to me to take a drive. Voila! Doggie fur is gone (and so are the dogs - mom came to get them an hour later.)
Just one of the many reasons I love my convertible!

And did you happen to look in the rear view mirror with those puppies on board? I know whenever our dog gets to go for a ride he has his head thrown back and a look of doggie bliss on his face! Good for you for letting those wet doggies ride in the back of your pretty new car. I can just hear the MINI lover and the dog lover in me having an argument in my head!
They did seem to be enjoying themselves. My large dog, he loves riding in the back. My Boston Terrier? HATES it. Barks, growls, whimpers until he finds the front-seat foot well.

Of course, I think I like my car better because I get to drive it.
