Interesting...

I didn't know there was one available. Have you seen one somewhere? Can you post a link to it? I'd be curious. I need SOMETHING to make people stop hitting me! LOL!

P.s.

I did actually buy a scrolling LED sign and I'm SO close to installing it behind the headrests telling people to BACK THE $&*% UP!!

It seems that all SUV's suffer from Bumper Separation Anxiety at red lights.

If anyone is interested, the brake light flashers we've used in a couple of local group buys are these. He doesn't discount them much for a group buy so the savings are in group shipping. If anyone is interested in installing one in a cabrio here are the installation instructions I put togther while installing on in my wife's MCC.

On a coupe the module can be mounted in the cavity behind the third brake light.

1157 bulb replacement

For those looking for a plug-n-play solution, you might try:

http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/...b-p-16989.html

I know these work for motorcycle applications, but I don't know for sure if the cabrio uses a 'standard' 1157 replacement bulb. I do know the G4 halogen bulb is brighter than the 1157 bulb. Of course, you're looking at purchasing two for $130 so the mudule posted above is far cheaper. Just wanted to offer an alternative for those who don't feel comfortable cutting into their wiring. Personally I like the module posted above, and thanks again for the pdf on installation, it looks pretty simple.
