Ordered MCSC. Is dealer estimate of delivery time accurate

I ordered a MCSC last Saturday. Production of the car has not yet begun. Dealer says it should be delivered in 5 to 6 weeks. Is that realistic? What are peoples' experiences with dealer delivery estimates?

My dealer quoted me 6 weeks. The car arrived in 5. I was pleased, obviously.

The big thing is when the car goes into production - you can check that on the MINIUSA.COM website or by calling.

In my case it was 30 days after the car entered production that it was delivered to me. Again, I was pleased.

Welcome to the Waiting Game!

When I placed my order(May 31st), the dealer had 6 spots open for the month so I got my production number within days. As of now, my car is at the VDC. Only a few days to go

5-6 weeks is absolutely realistic.... You'll be motoring before you know it...

Enjoy the wait and check out all the other posts on how to track your Mini on its way to the dealer. While waiting it can seem like forever, but it is fun.

The waiting time will vary according to each dealers allotment and manufacturing slot. Our newly acquired Mini from our sole Salt Lake City dealer took 3 months.

My dealer was exact to within 2 days. I would have had it on the day promised but it came in friday evening right when service was closing so they didn't have time to prep it. I had to wait the weekend till Monday morning. Talk about pulling your hair out!!!!!!!! But it was darn well worth the wait!!!!!
