Broke the tab off of mine and ordered par# 51132756227 which is the only part the dealer shows for a 2008 Convertible S R52. Problem is it doesn't fit. different dimensions, tabs are different and structure of the back of the lens different. Anyone else had the issue? Dealer has no options available.Mine looks like this

They are kinda hard top put in as you have to use a screwdriver to install them. But we keep them in stock if you need them

Yes that is the right one I posted, it's just turned around from the pelican pic.

The 227 number is for an R56, that's why it's wrong for you.

 

Strange that's what the mini dealer showed. Oh well, called and gave them the right number in case they run into this again.,

 

They might have just made a mistake, 51247114535 is for the Gen 1 R50 R52 R53 MINI

They can break at the tabs over time or water can work behind them from improper install. Make sure they get installed all the way in otherwise water and junk gets in there and corrodes the licence plate light terminals.
