Howdy folks!

I've been out of the MINI game for about two years because of awful MINI dealer experiences, and a lack of MINI friends out here in southern NM. BUT, an opportunity presented itself, and I jumped on it. I am now the proud owner of my fourth MINI. I nabbed a one-owner 2006 GP! It is number 1996 and the last one brought over to the USA. Her name is Gertie, and I am quite happy to be back wth my MINI peeps.

 

Congratulations! That's some fun history about being the last one! I see the little photo, but do you have anymore you can post?

 

It is a super interesting story! I drove overnight to pick the car up once I knew it was for sale.

I just got back yesterday, so the car is filthy! I will snap some pictures this afternoon and post them up.
