I installed the British kit (I'm in the US) and it looks pretty decent. I've also seen other kits floating around with high quality installation videos, which the British kit didn't really have.

Yep the fix kits are all not perfect, they look good but not exact like oem.

For a true oem look you have to replace the full trims linked above.
