So wierd. But a few days ago i noticed that a piece of chrome trim on the front grill was GONE. Not sure if it fell off or if it was stolen. I do remember hearing a noise while driving that sounded like running over a stick (but i didn't see one inthe rear view). Also, my passenger side "S" emblem/side blinker is very loose.

Anyone else have this problem? I don't think its theft cause i live in a really safe area and at work at a school. I noticed at the dealer other MCS' chrome peice was pretty loose to the touch. Anyone else have this issue?

My rear chome trim ring was loose from the factory (chrome-line part, below the rear bumper). A couple of the mounting clips had sheered off.

Got it replaced under warranty. No problems with the new one.

 

I already made an appointment for this upcoming saturday. Still makes me worry about a car that has parts fall off.

I had the same thing happen to the lower plastic (chrome-like) piece under the front grill. It is supposed to clip in but doesn't. They have a new one on order.

 

UPDATE:
THis actually happened twice. The first piece they installed fell off again, luckily in my driveway. When i went back they ordered a new grill and chrome trim. The new installation seems MUCH more tight.

I don't know if the "S" emblem/side blinker was loose, but my emblem on the driver side came off the other day while I was driving on the highway! I was just driving to work, heard a noise, then saw it flapping around against the car, and it was too late, it just came completely off! The car is about one month old, and the service department in San Antonio is (so far) giving me a hassle about covering the issue under warranty. There is no way i could have hit something and only caused the emblem to rip out. Curious if anyone else had this problem?
