Outdoor car cover

I've seen a few outdoor car covers made for the hardtop that have a "condom", as they call it, over the antenna so you dont have to remove it. Has anyone found a similar cover for the convertible since the antenna is in a different place?

Yes, they make covers specifically for the convertible, you just have to be sure thats what you order. I find it's easier just to unscrew the antenna than to try and fit the cover over the antenna.

I too find it easier to unscrew the antenna and just put the cover on my cabrio...saves time and aggravation. I recently bent (and ruined) an aftermarket antenna trying to fit my cover over it.

My MINI's S2000 antenna works just fine with my coverking cabrio cover.

I was looking at this cover the other day after posting this. How do you like that cover BlimeyCabrio? Any quirks with it?

Mine fits great - I got the Coverbond4 material because I wanted something really thick to protect as much as possible against dings and scratches while parked in the airport garage. It's really bulky and takes some skill/work to put on and off without swirling the paint... but it has served the intended purpose well. I might get another one sometime with one of the nicer materials, as my paranoia is subsiding a little bit now....

Did you find that on the minimania.com site? I've been checking this one out http://new.minimania.com/web/Item/NMA1008/InvDetail.cfm. I dont have a garage so my car(when I order it) will be outside all the time so I'm leaning towards the same direction you are going...most protection from the elements I can get.

Nah - don't remember exactly where I ordered it from - I googled coverking, found lots of retailers, and shopped them until I found the best price - they're all made to order by coverking.... even use coverking's ecommerce site to order... just charge widely different prices... much money can be saved by shopping around.
