What toolkit?

My '06 MCS (Nov. build) does not seem to have its toolkit. It does have the jack. From reading the forum, I understand that it is supposed to be tucked next to the battery in the boot. Can anyone with a similar MINI confirm?

Have you looked in the driver's side rear cubby? That's where mine is.

It should be a small black styrofoam rectangular box that is mounted vertically RIGHT next to the battery. You'll have to pull up the carpet floor of the boot to see the battery and the toolkit.

The tookit is -not- supposed to be in/with the little bag that contains the jack.

Sorry, I don't have a picture of it handy, but I'm sure someone else does.

Found a pic... click on it for a larger size. However this is from a Cooper, so it might look a little different for a Cooper S:

First time I looked I missed it. Thought it was packing or spacer for the battery. It's a snug fit, just pull it up from between the battery and battery box.

Ha! Took me three looks, but I did find it. When I read "styrofoam" I was thinking it would be white. It really is packed in there, isn't it!

Thanks!
