Greetings!
Has anyone purchased the center console storage from R-Speed? Seems expensive, is it worth it? Will it hold glass cases and garage door openers? Easy to install?

Thanks

I bought one over the weekend... It is a very nice pice of kit, it slides into the open space and locks in ...no tape , no screws.. nice texture and quality. it is also IMHO less noticeable than others like the moss unit. It will blend seemlessly with my anthricite interior but looked good when I stuck it in r-speeds cooper S (patina)... My car gets here in the next few days..... now all I need is the GB organizer... they in yet Peter????

Ordered mine last night from R-Speed and can't wait to get it! I have had the Moss organizer since I've owned the car and it has always been too difficult to get things out of there. I like the fact that it will match the glove box organizer.

I was one of the first to get one from Rspeed. It is a must have in all MINI's. I had mine for over 5 months now and love it !!! Get one and don't worry about the price. Its worth every penny.

Yeah the price was kinda steep, but I ordered one. I like the idea that it makes the most use of the space with two levels. Now I can put my cell phone or ipod in the bottom and my headset in the top. Looks better than the plastic on too.

How steep is this steep price of which you speak? I thought the Moss one was quite steep enough, especially since no one had anything nice to say about the quality of it.

I ordered one as soon as Peter posted that they were available. It is a nice piece. It is coated with some sort of fuzzy coating that will keep things from slipping around. I like the fact, also, that it divides the space for more storage options.

If you have the glove box organizer from RSPEED.NET, it is the same construction and material.

It's great pre-ordering all of this stuff before my MINI ever arrives. It's going to be fun doing all of the add-ons and mods.

See ya,
JS

how is the fit if you actually use your cupholders for cups, cans, etc.? i'm curious to see if it gets in the way at all - from the pics on the RSpeed site, it looks like it's gonna be a close call...

and $54.95 is mighty steep.

I'm going to order one soon and it's matching glove compartment storage organizer. Wonder if they will make something for the euro parcel shelf?
