Hey,
I was just wondering about how often you guys see other MINI's on the road? I see about 2 to 3 MINI's a week out here in Denver, CO.

But normally in Cincinnati, maybe 2 per week. Actually had my first "wave-back" yesterday after 6 weeks!

Every morning I walk into the garage, tee hee!

 

I see a few once in awhile on the road but more often, I see about 5 in the parking lot at the Boulder facility where I work (BIG company, large site). We work on the same side of the campus but I've tried to be friendly and introduce them to this site or the clubs and the others aren't very friendly. One was really rude but I think thats because he wanted to be the first MINI Cooper S there and I beat him to it. Oh well, most of the people that work there are freaks and are much stranger than I am and thats very difficult to do.

 

I see maybe 1 or so a week, although I have seem 4 in a day as well...

I see 5-10 a day. They are all over here now. At least 5 on the way home from work, sometimes more, depending on how long I spend in traffic..:smile:

 

I've seen 4 in the past 6 weeks, and those have all been out of town on road trips! As far as I know there's only 3 or 4 here in town, but I haven't seen any of them. Talk about the ultimate feeling of uniqueness!

 

When I'm here in Northern NJ I see about 5-8 MINIs a day, they're everywhere! Down at school in Florida I very rarely see any others, maybe 2 or 3 a month, although that number is slowly rising.

I don't see that many here...strange, considering there is a MINI dealership about 5 miles from my house! They must fan out from Albany... But I did see an EB/W one today with my mom.

Just tonight, for the first time ever, I saw two MINIs on my way home from work. (I don't get my own to look at until next month.) Normally I see about two per week around town (Seattle).

 

I usually see a handful every week here in Denver. They seem to be a little easier to spot when I venture to the southern suburbs vs. where I am in the northern 'burbs. When I took my MINI to Michigan to visit family, though, I only saw one other MINI on the entire trip, a darn near blacked out MCS on I-94 in Michigan on my way back. It had some form of roof rack and I couldn't ID the state for the license plate.

 

Highly variable. As many as 5 in one day (during a road trip) but usually maybe one a week. Hadn't seen any (but my own) in a couple of weeks and then saw one two days ago -- just before being accosted by a woman who races MINIs (see The folks you meet while out Motoring).

Up until this spring (since about early March), I saw maybe 2 or 3 a month. Lately though, I've been seeing as many as 2 or 3 A DAY on local roads and out on the highway. This seems to represent something of an explosion in the local MINI population. I live about 35 miles outside of Boston.

If I was one of those people who feel that exclusivity is an essential quality of MINI ownership, I'd be worried... Fortunately, I'm not.

 

About 6 or 7 a day. I live in England. isn't that veeird (say in Goldmember's voice)

 

It varies from day to day. There are plenty in this area. Some days I none but most days I see at least 3-4. :smile: :smile:

In Charlotte I saw about one a day. I've had my MINI for 5 days now and have seen none. Go figure.

 

It is very very seldom that I see a MINI here in Austin,Texas. I guess I'd have to say it's about 1 a month. I go completely nutts when I see one that I usually fail to even notice if it's got bonnet stripes, etc... I see the color and roof and by then it's gone - ZOOM !!!

 

I have a 1.5 mile commute in Boston (which I usually walk). Yesterday I drove because I was going to class afterward, and saw 4 MINIs on my way to work! All pure silver Coopers, for some reason.

Here in New Orleans I see one about every two weeks. I do get scattered reports from coworkers on mini sightings and there was a CR in our parking garage last week that caused quite a stir. In about three weeks i'll get to see one everyday and drive it too!

 

Getting more frequent here....almost every day now. But I think alot of the time I am seeing the same ones over and over.

 

I usually get to see 2 or three a day at most on the road, and there are two MCSs and my MC here at my office.

But yesterday was red cooper day. On my way to work I passed a CR/W MCS (one of the guys that works at my office) he followed me for over 5 blocks so we made a little Red/White Mini caravan.

Then I lunch I saw another CR/W cooper on the way to a restaurant. Two blocks down I spot another CR/W, and finally from my office window I spot yet another CR/W.

It was CR/W day! Weird, since the most common color around Mexico City seems to be Silver/Black

 

I just took a road trip from Ohio to NJ, and I saw a grand total of ZERO Mini's. Very disappointing!

Of course that doesn't count my friend's BRG MCS, which he was generous enough to let me test drive. I knew I was sold when he said "Dude, we're going 80." after I'd wound each gear up to 5000 rpm or so. :smile:

Down here in Athens, Ohio, I see the same 3 or 4 Mini's over and over. I guess that's a decent number, since the nearest dealers are 2 hrs away!

 

I see about 4 - 6 per week in my area (Suburbs just outside Philly).
