Hmmm... People are so disrespectful

This was done at a Villinova game in the parking lot. Ive gotten over my anger (it was done a couple of weeks ago, Im just getting pictures) Any body guys in Central PA who want some extra work?

I think the worse part is that this is my baby. Why is it that I cant have good things, and the good things I have get destroyed?

I dont know why who ever did this, did it. Maybe it was the PSU sticker on the back, maybe they dont like small cars, maybe they thought it was another persons car, maybe they were just drunk college kids... who knows.

That's terrible! My guess is you are right and some fanatic didn't like your Penn State sticker and decided to be a jerk. I believe in a just world, so the universe will surely get the b@stard who did that to your baby! (so much for "You've got a friend in Pennsylvania", huh?)

Ouch those are some deep marks. Some people are just savages. Trust me, getting her fixed will make it all better. Granted you may start parking a lot farther away from people (or even farther).

Disrespectful? This goes FAR beyond that. Pictures like these never fail to make me sick at my stomach. I am so sorry that this happened to you. I hope that the sick freak that did this is swept away by a karma tsunami.

At any rate, I hope that your MINI is back to its former self ASAP.

Chuck

I truely feel your pain.....I distance myself from college students, specially drunk redneck ones. Moved out of the city to the suburbs because of them.

Ugh, that makes it even worse.

I know most of us already do park quite a distance from the rest of crowd. I have noted that after something like this happens (and it has happened to me too), you tend to park even farther away.

Notice my Sig. I live in the Ghetto area of this god for saken town. I dont have the money to get out of here. Fortunatly, no one around here would do such a thing (I park it in my schools parking lot) (I think). But hey! if you want to help get me out of the land of the broken down 80s cars and people of all races (mostly white trash) who "Dun kno' woo da baby's dadda dis", by all means, donate!

AWWW that stinks!!!
funny, i went to Nova this past semester (and 3 years) as a grad student at night--had a Honda Del Sol at the time..and wouldn't you know it--one night after my thursday class i came out to see FOOTPRINTS on my car...walking from the hood, the top, to the trunk... i asked if security had a camera on the lot i was in--and unfortunately they didn't. Good thing though--if i had found out who they were (two sets of sneaker prints) I think I would have torn their heads off.

Perhaps you can ask and see if security could help? even if they are aware that stuff goes on more, maybe they'll at least be more concious of it.

Check with the stadium security, and see if they have cameras in the parking lot. Maybe they caught it.

I'm so sorry also. I'm an old fart now, but when I was younger and before having a family, I had some pretty nice cars, and I'd always parked in the hinterlands to just keep the door dings away. And I contstantly worried everytime I parked somewhere.

Then married, kids, family utilitarian cars and parked pretty much anywhere I wanted and it was such a relief to not be in a restaurant and have to keep looking out the window to see if some krumudgeon had parked next to me...

Now the kids are grown, married and gone, and I got the MINI... now I'm back to my younger worries.... not much fun having to worry all the time if I'm going to come out of some store to see (you get the pic). If anything causes me to everf sell my MINI, this will be it.... I don't need to worry so much all the time over a piece of steel and rubber. So hard.....

YD

For anyone who was wondering, no cameras there.

Parking lots are always a nightmare: I try to park away from others, and always on the right end of a row so the other driver's door opens away from my Mini.

Still, nothing can defend against an idiot with no soul who would do something like that to someone else's pride & joy.

Get it fixed and be careful out there.

grr… my MINI was keyed over that very same wheel well!
It was very deep and very long…but, I went through a whole winter with it there and no rust appeared…so don’t worry about that part
(I did a little wax job over the ‘scratch’ though…so that might have helped)

Good luck with getting it fixed.
- (Mine was repaired by the dealer)

Cheers,
Nick

I'm sorry that happened! I'm with everyone else... that just makes me sick to know that there are people out there that will do this sort of thing.

What makes it worse is there is nothing you can do about it.

Good luck with it getting fixed.

People who do that sort of thing need to be on the receiving end of a hand grenade.

That's letting 'em off too easy.

I think first they need to get that hand grenade shoved in a very uncomfortable place before it goes off.

(and... no... not the back of a Volkswagen)

Too bad, there's really no excuse for something like that no matter what. Even if you were driving a beat up old pickup with the wheels falling off that is uncalled for. Hard to tell what some people think at times like that. Apparently part of the problem though, is they aren't thinking.
