Defroster help, no manual

I bought a used 2004 MC but no manual came with it. My question: when you turn on the defroster does it always blow full fan? When I try to turn the fan speed down it changes away from defrost and moves the air flow to the vents. Is there anyway to use the defroster in a fan speed other than full blast? Thanks

Mark

Press and hold the defroster button. That will slow the fan down.

For future reference, go to http://motoringfile.com/ and look in the download section for a PDF version of your owner's manual.

No problem. Here is a good and funny thread on the Auto AC operation.
The 'full defrost mode' was coined 'Full Tilt Boogie'.

Thanks from me too. I didn't know how to slow the fan down. I learn something everyday from Namsters!

That doesn't work in an '06 though. To control it in an '06, you have to hit the one on the right with the up button...then you can control the fan speed.
