MINITOR has gone international!

The Winter 2006 issue of New MINI magazine is out and MINITOR has another feature, this time across the pond. It is very similar in text and pics from the MC2 article (by the same writer), but just a bit different.

This is the first New MINI magazine I have personally seen. It is produced by MiniWorld magazine and is very different from MC2, focusing on highly modified MINIs. There are some other beautiful MINIs in this issue (13 total), like the White Zeemax cabrio with red leather interior, the orange PlayMINI, Stoopid Girl's pink ride (congrats Stoopid Girl!), and 2 MINIs on 20"s (one with lambo doors), and yes, one with spinners. You heard me correctly, spinners. OK, so this isnt everyone's magazine - kind of like MC2 meets Pimp My Ride, but it is entertaining none the less.

I wish I could post links to the articles but I don't think I can, but check the magazine out if you can, or if you dare. (newmini.org).

Oh I see how it is ...I post that MINITOR is in a magazine and I get zero responses in 5 days, but when StoopidGirl posts the same she gets 40 responses in 8 hours. Poor MINITOR just isn't loved.

I guess it pays to be a pretty girl after all.

Man I didn't even see the post bro. You know I wouldn't leave my magazine brethren's post just sit there like that intentionally. You do have the second coolest MINI featured in the square after all. J/K Congrat's

So how do you go about getting your MINI into a magazine? That's really awesome that two people from NAM are in the same magazine in the same month!

Not sure about StoopidGirl, but one of the editors from NEWMini saw MINITOR on Cardomain.com (link in my sig) and emailed me.

No, the pics from both mags were from a shoot taken right before I received the grill.

Actually, I didnt run anything, just supplied the car and info. But since one is a US magazine and one English, neither magazine saw a conflict in using pics from the same shoot since they have totally different subscriber bases and the amount of readers who will see both is very very slim.

I was all for it because I didnt have to detail my car twice. I've never been so **** about cleaning it as I was before that shoot, and probably never will.

Hmmm... I would have to disagree with this seeing as how you can buy the magazine from Border's and Barnes & Noble as well as other random news/magazine shops.

People that are into MINIs are typically INTO MINIs and when there is a new magazine around, they will most likely pick it up.

Yes, but we are talking about the subscriber base, as it is my unerstanding that this is where the majority of the magazines go to. This is coming from the mouths of the magazine publishers themselves, not mine, and I would hope that they know what they are talking about.

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful

(sorry, couldn't help it)
besides it's the internet and we all know what it's used for (eeeeewwwww....being a pretty girl isn't always a good thing hahahaha...ok bad joke...if ya don't get it, don't ask)
I never saw your thread but WOO HOO to you too...see you're getting some responses. I just got the mag so I haven't got to read any of it but if it means anything yours was the only one we went "Oh cool Minitor is in here too!"
