I wish my camera was ready......

So, I’m walking towards Mr Coopah, last night, parked outside of Target in the far reaches of the parking lot all by itself.
As I’m walking towards it, there is a mom and her little daughter (who looked about 4 yrs old) walking through the lot towards my MINI from the rear.
They didn’t see me, because the mom was looking down at her daughter away from me and the little girl was looking at my MINI in front of her. As they reached the rear end of my MINI (I was about 15 steps away, still unnoticed) the little girl goes up to the rear right corner of my MINI and gives it a big HUG, then carries on walking with her mom with a big smile on her face. Awwwwwwwww.

Now all you have to do is remove the sticky fingerprints and chocolate smears from back end. Not to mention the scratches from the buttons or zipper of her coat.

That wasn't a hug... it was a way for her to get rid of the bubblegum she had been chewing for the past 2 hours...

Nice story! Wish I had seen it. It had to be very cool.

Which combination of 37 carefully applied Zaino products is necessary to remedy a child's hug?

I did that once to a Dad and his son (probably about 10), it was hilarious, their eyes were huge when they started looking around

Kids seem to like the MINI, I was stopped at a red light yesterday on my way to school, and this little boy hangs out the window and gives me a big wave, and a huge smile (with a few missing teeth)

Thankfully, MINIs survived the "fad car" thing. When they were new MINIs did attract their share of interest from among the chic...but the car seems to appeal to such a wide demographic (young and old and in-between) that it defied being defined with any particular niche. Obvoiusly, MINIs aren't the "new kid on the block" any more, but among that still-broad demographic people seem to either "get them" or they don't. That's why we all still run into college kids, retirees, little tykes and everything in between who still are really into MINIs. It's nice I think.

That's so cute it hurts. As a side note, I got my first lights flash from a fellow MINI owner today!
