A very sad sight...a broken MINI

Please do not ask for details OK. Long story short.....flat tire....no spare...wait 2 hours for a flat bed...then have to had a tire flown by airplane 2 hours to change the tire. Expensive tire! lol (insurance paid for the towing and tire cost...I had to pay the shipping by plane). This was on a 4 day MINI event on an island. I had fun anyway and it was all worth it!

man, that flatbed was specifically made for the MINI's? look at how
small it is!

glad to hear you're back on the road.

btw, are those numbers so big so that even my pops can read it
without his glasses? lol

That sucks. Sorry for your bad luck.

I plan to do the same thing, except I'd use my factory run flats and wheels (that came with the car) for long trips.

hahaha Kenchan. Yes...big numbers on the plates. However Korea just came out with white plates with black lettering. It is about 3 inches wider. I am debating if I should change to the new plates. Side note....I have a camera blocker on the front plate. I got tired of too many speeding tickets in the mail. And I also got an english GPS that has all the cameras on it. Warns me about 500 meters from the cam....but since I have the front plate....I just blow by em......

And.....yeah the tow hook is functional....it works....not just for BLING!

I can't see any exhaust tips. What system do you have on your car?

The wheels are NEEZ Eurocross. The only place I know in the USA to get them is thru Eisenhaus. The wheels thru Eisenhaus are about $1010 each. They are made in Japan and are not cheap. They are the best forged wheel on the market. Here in Korea I traded stock rims and R90s for the set.....still cost me $2K for the 4 rims and the Hankook Ventus Sport tires which are about $225 apiece here. What a deal!($5k worth of wheels and tires)

We know that 'Giant MINI' was made by 'MINI United 2006 in South Korea'. I guess that this MINI means yours. Why??????? Look at the front wheel!!!

For the next MINI Korea sponsored driving events that are over 300 miles I will have 2 spare tires (Hankook) stowed in the MINI service MINI that is deployed on driving runs....

Can you speak Korean?
Here is the site for MINI club in South Korea. I guess that you can attend it. http://www.clubmini.co.kr/main.htm
You can find another MINI club site on 'DAUM' cafe site. It is called 'MINI Korea'.
