Does anyone know how to set the clock in the Speedo? (God I feel stupid even asking........)

 

Use the trip reset button to switch to the time.
Hold down the reset button for 5 seconds to get into the time change mode.
Then wait 5 seconds for it go past the 12/24hr option.
Then use the button to change the hour and minutes. There is a 5 second pause between those.
Once you have the time the way you want it wait 5 seconds and it will stick.

Motor on!

 

Yup. That's the way I did it too. Only I read it in the manual instead of going on line and expecting someone else to do it for me. ;-)

 

 

MINI's come with some sort of "manual"?

 

That funny little book taking up space in your glove box, under the old McD's wrappers, napkins, maps, and receipts.

 

Now that's just harsh. I can't think of any MINI owner that would leave something like that in the glove box, oh the smell .

 

To think that good for nothin stack of paper is weighing down the side of my car why the little. I really like the PDF version, quick and searchable

 

Boy I 'm glad I have an 04. It is the easiest clock to adjust in any vehicle I have ever owned and the time is alwasy displayed.

 

Ok, no McD's wrappers. Starbucks receipts.

 

And the postcard addendum with the correct phone number.

 

 

Ha ha, yup. One button for the hours, one button for the minutes. Somebody got it right

 

I have that on my cell phone. Very convenient...useless.

Thank you for asking and answering the question. Also thanks for the PDF version of the manual. I have not been able to find my manual since before the time change. (If you knew about the work going on in my house and how much I travel, you'd understand.) I finally turned to this internet resource today and, low and behold, was provided with the solution.
